Walang sense ilagay ang pera sa bangko ngaun coz statistics have shown that 40% ang savings rate ng Filipino Savers. If everybody is into it, then walang growth. And you're just wasting your opportinity.

Wala din sense ilagay ang pera sa mga mamahalin SUvs coz everybody else wants it. In the crowd of vehicles sa mall parking lot, nobody would notice your brand new SUv, unless you modify it some sort. But still are the add-ons worth it for people to look at your cars.


What's importsnt now jn this period of abundance is to prepare yourself sa next cycle of down.
Improve yourself, reduce weight, experience good life, travel. That's what I do. in life kasi, there is thi hidden merit system na makakikita sa aura mo. If you dont have that, wala din kwenta belongings mo.

Like for wxample. This aldub fever. Those 2 young people were prepared for this time, na-develop nila ng husto ang sarili, and now they're touching lives, imagine walt disney, lego jumping into the aldub fever

Seriously, siyempre if that's your last money, you can't use it to buy SUV or anything not really important. But if it will not break the bank so to speak. Or will not affect your way of life, why not? Enjoy life.

I have this "rule" that you need to have at least 50% worth of savings vis a vis how much yun house and mga kotse most if you own P10M house plus a 2M SUV, 1M CUV. You should have at least 5-6M in the bank. But 4M pwede na.

Malalaman mo kung meron talaga pera isang tao or pamilya pag meron nagkasakit biglaan na serious sa pamilya. Tapos wala pangbayad ng hospital. Ganda ng mga suot, gandawng kotse tapos umuutang dahil hinde kaya hospital bills.

I have a similar rule on loans naman. I will never loan anything if I do not have the cash equivalent at the bank. Marami na kong "loan" sa Lola ko, if my family makes me pay for those loans, I could readily do so.

The only exception I would make would be for a housing loan. Mahirap mag cash ng house and lot especially for a salaried person like me.

Will I ever live to have a salary on the same range as yebo and EQ. I hope so!

I agree with you. Get a loan for a house/business or property. Its leverage and allows you to build equity you otherwise wouldnt be able to.

I have no doubt you will, you are way ahead people your age already.

BTT: SUV's are more expensive than sedans but I think the price difference is worth it. Height and size pa lang sulit na. You can carry more people and cargo pa. If I had the money, I would definitely buy an SUV.
