    it's all about MALASAKIT.

    ano ba english ng malasakit?

    care?

    sympathy?

Only YOU care about YOUR money as much as YOU do.

    Nobody else.

When u hand over your money to other people to manage, asahan mo hindi sila magkakaroon ng malasakit sa pera mo.

afaik, ang non-guaranteed is yung non-forfeiture values and yung dividends. pero yung base coverage amount is guaranteed.

Actually you will never read in any part of the contract that the company

Guarantees to pay you on maturity. What you will read is They will indemnify.

(and this will be on a best effort basis)

There are a lot of things the contract is silent about.

Like in times of war and other civil situations, this is what uls is writing about.

And the treasury bonds they are required to buy. Which is worthless right

now, I heard another 1.8 billion dollars was borrowed this year by the

government.

At bayaran daw rallyist.

aalinlangan? Of course it sounds nuttier than uls.

Our society has its TRADITIONS one of that is we always pay our debts.

And I am creature of tradition. Tao ako.

By tradition Life Insurance is always paid. I am betting on this.

The management of CAP Is another creature. Its unfortunate.

I hope CAP policy holders get paid soon.

I dont want to see people break tradition and put the law into their hands

and shove it into somebody's throat.

You guys are probably wondering why you are reading this from an Insurance Agent.

its either the government is in cahoots with or theyre just turning blind.

Coz there's idealism and there's reality.

Idealism makes u believe the govt will always protect the ordinary people, or the victims.

But the reality is --- people in govt will only protect those who can buy protection.

And in case u are a perpetrator of a crime, as long as u have money, u can always pay someone to get law enforcement to stop breathing down your neck... so u can continue playing golf...

Oh... talk about insurance... AIG wrote down $11B (credit default swaps) and posted a $5.3B loss on thursday.

well AIG is big so customers dont have to worry right?

    Right.

YES, Maliit lang na loss ito, compared to the twin towers claim which has been fully paid. Trillions of dollars!
Nasa reconstruction stage na nga sila. This severely affected our future policy cover. Now everybody would have to apply for a seperate Terrorism Coverage if they want this included.
AIG will just take the loss divided between themselves. Kahit local insurance
co. kaya ito since there is reinsurance.

Pag nag general mobilization ang Philippine Army baka ubos na $5B within 6 months. Thats is when they will arm 600thou civilians to join the army.
That co should be liquidated and the proceeds paid to its liabilities.

Until now we do not know what kind of animal this is.

I am sure the policy holders would not mind if they divide the golf fairways between themselves diba?

"for the people by the people" ba tayo o "from the people by the crocodiles"?

    Right.

the write off that AIG did is on their financial, credit and lending side, not in insurance.
