I still have my Bankard Visa Classic card from 7 years ago, company-issued. Kakainis, ang laki ng interest rate. Tapos ilang beses ding tinaas yung credit limit ko. Yung huli, natunugan siguro nila na nag-aaply ako for a BPI credit card (balak ko kasing mag-balance transfer para isara ko na yung Bankard). Ang mga walanghiya, dinagdagan pa ng 20k yung credit limit ko, bwisit.
Buti pa yung BPI Mastercard ko, low credit limit lang. Bawas tukso.

okay in terms of:
*interest - Equitable...based on remaining outstanding balance ang kanilang interest charge...okay ito kung revolver ka
*customer service - Citibank...ang daling tumawag...madali at mabilis ang aksyon ng customer service...wag ka lang magpapa past due kundi eepalin ka rin ng mga kolektor nito...i should know dahil dati akong citibank collector he he
*perks - BPI...lalo na pag may BPI madness...may BPI Pa-milya na rin sila di ba?
*rebate - BPI Petron at Shell Citibank Mastercard - kung malakas ka pakarga ng gas...
I also have AMEX Peso Platinum...napakakonti ng tumatanggap...ganun din ang Diners...pero nakakuha na ako ng free Canon digicam sa AMEX PP...pwede mo naman pa waive annual fee kung sobra dami mo na nabili...
right now may promo ang BDO...kapag nag balance transfer ka min of 50K may libre kang iPod shuffle...kapag nag compute ka parang mapapamahal ka pa rin dahil sa interest...bumili ka na lang ng Ipod Shuffle then pay off your 50k debt...okay lang ito kung balance revolver ka...

Q: pwede ko bang gamitin pangbayad ng credit card bill ang another credit card? makaka earn ba ng points or miles kapag ganito ang ginawa?

boybi; balance transfer yata yan. earn din ng points AFAIK.
ssaloon; AFAIK, kahit di pasok annual income mo sa amex, kung irerefer ka ay alam ko bibigyan ka.

walang charge ang balance transfer.. or fee?? pero syempre may interest.. mas mababa ito kesa monthly interest nang credit card.. for Equitable AMEX, it's .99% per month lang.. compare sa 3.50% nang credit card.. halimbawa.. kung mag transfer ka nang 10,000 for 1 year.. 932.33 lang babayaran mo for 1 month.. for a total of Php11,187.96 for 1 year.. mag earn din nang points.. kaya yung balance ko sa HSBC.. ni transfer ko na sa AMEX gold ko..
ok naman tong AMEX ko.. so far lahat naman tinatanggap.. dami pang discount sa mga restaurant.. 15% discount yata sa CPK.. ok rin sa supermarket..

Misis ko pala, sobrang bad trip sa Citibank. Tinawagan pa siya at kinulit-kulit mag-apply for credit card. Eh di nag-apply naman siya, pero eventually denied. Nakakainis dun, inaksaya lang yung oras niya kakahagilap ng requirements, eh kung tutuusin hindi naman siya yung lumapit sa kanila.
Tapos nag-offer na naman sila sa kanya ng card. Tinarayan talaga niya yung pahamak ng call center agent na nangulit sa kanya before. Ayun, hindi na siya inistorbo uli. :D
