Admin staff: Sorry sir but we do not have notebooks here. You should buy it yourself just like what the others did. Or, you may use a blank sheet of paper to jot down notes. I can provide you an A4 sheet if you want.
Me: Are you serious? I will be having a meeting with a COO of a company and you want me to use that. ha,ha. Anyway, thank you.

I have an organizer/planner but i only use it for my personal notes (payment schedules, reminders, future plans, etc.)
It is a good sign to look for another career when the company cannot provide its employees the necessary office supplies e.g. notebook, corrector tape/fluids, push pins.

EDITED
The last time I shifted career, I ensured that my remaining resources will last for at least a year. I was jobless for 5 months yet I didn't felt any pressure because everything were planned. Likewise, I have another source of income during my tambay days, even though it is not regular, it certainly helped a lot.
what's wrong with blank sheets of bond paper?
i do it all the time.
what is more important is, one has something to write with and write on.
perhaps you may change your tune, when you see your COO flipping thru his blank sheets of paper!
heh heh.
