Yup, isa pa yan. I've been receiving email notifications from Facebook and Google. 3 emails from Facebook for password reset daw, I didn't request password reset.
Also email from Google that someone is adding me as contact email address to another account.
Both of them have "click here to verify" button. I'm thinking these are phishing email so I ignored it.

Something not right with this story ... People and social media ... they should think before forwarding stories ... just because some famous (but not so smart) social media entity posted it, doesn't mean it's true ... How were the scammers able to access his email? He gave the password? ... How did they access his bank account? He also gave the passcode? ......
Then there's this ...
Are there limits for using this feature?
You can Add Money using your BPI bank account six (6) per day with a minimum of PhP500.00 and up to PhP20,000.00 per transaction.
and this ...
For Account Limits
If your account is NOT upgraded:
You can load up to P50,000 per month and spend up to P50,000 per month. Your PayMaya wallet can maintain a maximum balance of P50,000 per month.
If your account is upgraded:
You can load up to P100,000 per month and spend up to P100,000 per month. Your PayMaya wallet can maintain a maximum balance of P100,000 per month.
Hard to say who the idiots are here ... the poster ... the ones forwarding this narrative ... or maybe all of the aboveLast edited by Walter; June 19th, 2020 at 08:46 AM.

If your hacker already has your online banking credentials (via phishing) and they tricked you to handover your sim (for the otp) as with the fb link above. Then you are pretty much in trouble.
