By myself, I haven't reached the 1 million mark.
Pero kami ni misis, this year lang. (Won't mention my age, though, hehehe) A little over one million in hard currency. 90% of it is deposited in 5-Year TD's (para walang withholding tax), and FCDU.
But I'm amortizing a condo unit at Manhattan Garden (QC), but that's our only liability.
BTW, am a mere employee. Savings were 100 generated from our salary and bonuses over the years.![]()
On my way to 30's I already have in asset form, currency during my late 30's & put it as a savings that earn 18% per anum... Still counting.
I just work local & abroad, with sideline to buy & sell. Now, I just let my money work for me & retire from being an employee. Besides I will be turning to 40 this year!
This is life for me, enjoy as early as possible!
I started working abroad at the age of 23 and when I reached the age of 27, Im already earning millions in just few months. My money goes always supporting my parents and my sisters because I was still single at that time. I'm the eldest thats why I have big responsibilities. Then until I reached the age of 31, I got my own car and a house & lot in a executive subdivision. I got little personal savings (laging nauubos) and keeps the savings for my kids. I'am 34 now and still aiming high.... I want a more bigger house...and my dream car....thats all :-)
eh yung galing sa mahirap na pamilya? graduate from a state university, survived college through scholarship, then nung magstart ng work dependent pa magulang mo sa yo. i wonder gano katagal makaka 1 million yung ganon ang background.
hirap kasi, you'll learn a lot of things while working pa lang, especially about money matters since nung kabataan mo wala ka pa nito.

Investors would be having a field-trip were it to be true. Even at its most risk of default, Greece bond yields were yielding just over 8%. Hmm, fishy.
Hmm, the first few millions at 18 given by parents to "manage", actual millions "earned" at 19 thanks to good investments on a market where the Dow stayed almost static. Currently plowing majority of the portfolio towards Banco Santander ADRs in Europe as a long-term investment.
As for liabilities, loans taken from my mother is considered as I have a tendency to hedge if I spot a good opportunity kasi. This year lang though... last year I was liability-free :naughty2:

how I wish I got even a million hahaha
got to learn how to earn outside of my salary. being a government employee makes it difficult to have a lot of savings. but i know it is necessary.
OT lang mga bro: Anu ang highest paid job ngayon dito sa atin? Highest paid na starting salary?
I earned my first million at age 23.
But actual first million saved/invested was at age 27 (conjugal). May paper gain na din na 500k yung 1M na yun.
I turned 27 last May.
