It's quite an accomplishment earning your 1st million at an early age but I suggest that you place your money in managed funds rather than let it rot in low interest savings account.

Got my first million when I was 17 years old, sadly I got too cocky and spent it all on a car...but things picked up once more when I reached 20.

Your parents must be so proud of you! Every so often, treat your parents out or buy them things. Even if they can afford it, I'm sure they would appreciate it

Kung naipon lang sana lahat ng sweldo ko, I already earned 6,000,000, more or less, in 12 years, unfortunately, sunod sa gastos, kaya walang natira, may utang pa.

mabilis nalang magkaron ng php1M nowadays, maliit nalang kasi value ng 1M, nevertheless it is still an achievement. 'the ability to make money is better than having money' i always say.

    yep saving is one thing

creating cashflow from the money you saved is another

the goal is to make your money earn enough money to sustain your lifestyle after you stop working

You place your money at that's within your circle of competence. You don't simply hand it over to managed funds where you automatically battle the manager's fee and inflation figures. Especially in days when people are jubilant over our market and claiming "this can go higher!"

For me it's not too ideal to go into the market now nga i guess. Johnny-come-lately ka na nyan if you're looking to make a killing. Those who earned were the people who jumped in a year or so ago AFAIK. Yes we are a-moving now but uur government has to push infra works and more jobs/industry to keep this rolling especially as the world economies would improve in the years to come.

And yes, as what Uls said, it's always your cash flow. Whether this be a company or private individual. Milestone yung mga earnings or achieved net income but if this is not sustained and matched to your expenditures (cash flow)... wala rin.

true. Php1M is still Php1M. milyonaryo parin tawag sayo hehe

dati may nanglilimos sakin, since i was waiting for my wife. nilecturan ko siya pano kumita ng pera, ayaw makinig. i told him 'bata what im telling you is worth more than even if i give you 10,000 now', tagal ko siyang sinabihan. tapos naasar sakin, sabi niya 'wala ka lang pera eh' sabay alis
