I will be replacing the horn of my Altis po. It has two horns na by default tapos i will be replacing it with Denso Powertone. i think my relay na yun car by default so was thinking twice if i need to add one.
gusto ko kasi stock lang setup sana as much as possible para when time to sell the car babalik ko lang yun stock horn.
when my altis' horn died (left) and turned hoarse and soft (right), i replaced the dead one with the cheapest horn i could find (yung makulay).
the resulting sound was kind of weird, but i liked it. it was neither too soft nor too loud.
i drive with my horns, and i feel that with my now-softer horns, i can keep on doing so, "with some amount of decency"..
'raming tricycle and entitled pedestrians dito samin..
joke lang po.
i actually like horn-less driving.

The point made by soleus was blasting the horn. a0ka, ibabad. There is nothing wrong with upgrading it. But two is enough, 4 is too many, 6 is overkill.
Everyone wants to have a louder horn. The jimny stock sounded pathetic so i upgraded it to bosch evolution.

in the olden days,
the use of a horn relay helped keep the wiring around the steering wheel, cool.
relays also helped combat long wire resistance syndrome.
Noted sir Yatta, akala ko kasi if yung car meron 2 horns na, you don't need relay na, planning to replace my stock horn with mitsuba alpha 2 or baka may iba kayong ma recommend. I'll buy it sa pinas and bring it here sa China and ako nakakabiy, daming fake kasi dito.
