Guys question, talaga bang cheap ang Bosch EC6? Broswed shopee and a pair is only priced around 600 petot. Tapos may isa pa akong nakitang seller from Lipa, Batangas na 300 petot lang ang benta sa isang pares.

my altis had a pair of horns.
one died, and the other developed sore throat.
i replaced the dead one, with a cheap, puny horn that is more at home in a VW or a motorcycle.
the result was better than i expected. louder than if single, and with an irritating vibrato that will easily attract attention.

Mura lang kasi yan EC6 because the diaphragm came from a basic compact disc horn. Nag lagay sila ng "snail" horn design so that the frequency response will differ from the basic compact disc horn.

Bosch Europa has a bigger diaphragm, a different frequency response and a higher SPL kaya mahal.

I see, thanks for the quick trivia .

One more question. Do I need to disconnect the negative battery terminal before installing/wiring the relay and horns for safety reasons? Hindi ba mag rereset ang ECU ng sasakyan (vios batman)?

Ang hinahanap ko lagi is stock horn ng either accord or odyssey. I like the sound of their stock horns kasi. Low note na distinctively honda.

In most cases you don't need to AFAIK. But a reliable electrical shop may handle any issues on it.

An increase of 3dB doubles the sound intensity.

One day at a Blade Auto Center, and coincidentally one Honda City Jazz owner plans of upgrading his stock horn (mono horn), he asked for an audition of all the "disc" horns available. From Denso Compact Full Powertone, Hella Strong Tone and Supertones, Bosch FC2 and Korsa 50F, I just stood aside and listened. From tone, pitch and loudness. I voted and bought the Korsa 50F. He did too.

    Price: 530.00

You can listen on how it sounds here:

Electromagnetic Horns - Korsa Horns | Electromagnetic Horns, Electric Horns, Air Horns, Compressor Horns

Way louder than my stock Denso Compact Full Powertone. Plug and play and no new relay needed.

How accurate is the sound on the website compared to actual?

The ec6 just sounds right. I had one for 5 years.
Not too scandalous but will still get the attention.

    ========

I now have a bosch evolution (suppossedly the ec6 successor). Sounds louder and better for the same price.
