I dont think mine has sleep function. The red light on the obd reader is always on. And this is probably one of the old stock. I've had it since 2011, got tired of removing from the obd port and left it there since 2015.

On a daily driver, it probably won't matter. On a garage queen, plug when needed. Solutions?

Or grab 1 w/ sleep mode or an SG2.[emoji4]

    Well, I'm guessing it's trickle-charged....so, no worries.[emoji4]
