xiaomi yi front using 3m cs35 (light)



xiaomi 70mai back using 3m cs5 (dark)





it is almost the same time/area nung kinuha ko video. had to cut the front video since sa yi, 3mins ang per video sa 70mai naman 1min per video lang. and for some weird reason parang malabo yung video after uploaded sa youtube especially yung sa back recording.

no need to post day video since pareho maliwanag naman.

Where did you connect the 70mai? Mahaba ba ang wire nyan para umabot sa power source sa front?

the vehicle is a crv. meron cigarette lighter plug sa trunk so i only need a short cable to power it.

although ang purpose ko lang naman sa rear dashcam is para may rough idea kung ano nangyayari sa likod. better than putting my sjcam4000 sa likod. sa sjcam all-black tapos yung headlights lang ang nakikita. at least eto my konti pang details.

can you try this out: put the lens of the dashcam as close to the windshield glass as possible. napansin ko parang nanenegate yung effect ng darker tints this way. second: although hindi ata possible, if you can make the lens and the windshield glass as parallel as possible. napansin ko ulit mas maliwanag. hindi nga lang pwede since usually naka-angle slightly ang windshield at kung gagawin nating perfectly parallel yung lens ng dashcam, magiging nakatutok pataas na yung dashcam.

sa crv kasi almost vertical yung rear glass. tapos ang initial ko na setup, nakadikit sa bump ng third brake light yung xiaomi 70mai tapos medyo tutok pababa. nilipat ko tapos dinikit ko sa glass mismo yung mount tapos straight horizontal ang tutok. mas maliwanag.

i've read about this effect somewhere sa mga photography forums regarding using filters sa lens. mukhang applicable din sa dashcams.

Maganda yan sir... pero may question ako if malapit masyado sa windshield, hindi ba madali masira ang lens ng dashcam? Umi.init din kasi ang windshield po, tapos parang naka focus lagi si lens if ganun... thats my thoughts lang naman...

hindi ko pa natry sir. usually kasi kailanga yung normal mounting para yung side nung mic at nung speaker eh nasa driver's side po

getting some problems with the xiaomi 70mai.

2x happened to me that all videos recorded are 0 bytes. when it first happened, i just formatted the memory card using the dashcam, tested to see it is recording properly and then let it go for a few days. when i tested it this morning, ganun na naman. it has several days of video pero puro 0 bytes.

i will try to isolate since it also uses a newly purchased memory card (samsung evo 32gig). i will try to use an old reliable memory card.
