The powerbank usually lasts for 20 hours but I routinely replace the powerbank every 12 hours to ensure the dashcams will not run out of power.

Lately I'm beginning to think about the safety with keeping these dashcams running. I'm worried that the dashcams might overheat and cause a fire inside the car. Although the car is parked at a covered area where there's no direct sunlight, the cabin can get a bit warm during daytime.

Am I just being paranoid about the possibility of a fire due to the dashcams overheating? I'm aware that the DDPai and Viofo dashcams are using a super capacitor instead of a lithium ion battery which is prone to overheating. What do you guys think?
DDPai user din since 2018. AFAIK, may overheat protection sya. Magrereboot sya pag sobra init na. Naexperience ko na yun dati sa Mini ko sa likod. Tirik ang araw. Narinig ko na nagrestart sya. Mas prone pa mag-init at sumabog yung powerbank gaya ng sabi nila.
