Share ko lang! actually ginaya ko lang din yun setup from this thread. Done with my DYI installation of my DP220. So far im super satisfied with it. Reconfigured my hardwire kits. Di pala sya micro usb but mini usb kaya di ko na magamit yun abang kung microusb sa windshield mirror.
Before:
Sjcam sj4000 using bike mount

12v to 5v to microusb hardwire kit from Lazada

After:
Transcend DP220 using suction mount

12v to 5v to USB hardwire kit also from Lazada


Didnt remove the hardwire microusb but instead tranferred it near the handbreak so it will serve as additional cellphone charger. I just tapped into ac wire and ground to my headunit since meron na syang abang. So far very happy with it. Thanks to all!

Ngayon ko lang nasubukan gamitin ito Datakam player sa Mini 0805 video files ko. All i can say is WOW! Ang galing. And daming data makikita pala sa mini 0805. how fast the car was going, exactly where in teh map it was, G-forces etc, etc.

Sulit na SUlit pala talaga ito mini0805. ang ganda pa ng resolution. malaki lang ang files (around 80-120MB per minute) but that's the trade-off. also mainit nga pala itong mini0805 lalo na pag daytime running. but so far so good. very satisfied user here. I'm buying more for my other cars.

yup, one of the best ang mini 0805 sa price point nya and it's very compact. remove the dashcam if you are gonna park in an open space dahil sobrang init ngayon. for sure hardware failure at lolobo ang baterya ang resulta nyan.

yup, one of the best ang mini 0805 sa price point nya and it's very compact. remove the dashcam if you are gonna park in an open space dahil sobrang init ngayon. for sure hardware failure at lolobo ang baterya ang resulta nyan.

this is so true... also remove your expensive dash cam when park even when the sun has left already... thieves are just waiting to break your glass and get your expensive dash cams!

Got the Qube A7 too and very happy with it! Comparing it to my old G1W, it's a step higher in terms of wider angle, day and night resolution. Price-wise, the G1W is only 2.8k and the Qube A7 is 3,999, both are great dashcams for the price. Qube is smaller than the G1W.
My very first dashcam was CDRking's 1.2k cam which i bought probably 5-6 years ago and was crap even with day viewing.
Saw the Transcend cams in Blade and priced 6k+, which most features I wont use like wifi, LDWS etc so I opted for the A7.
I uploaded night videos for both Qube and G1W but youtube compresses the video and isnt as sharp as the original.

Shop named itemshop in FB. I think they have 3 models of the G1W now. Pinadeliver ko lang together with their lightning cables around 2-3 years ago. Planning to order from them the rear view mirror mount for dashcams too. Hindi maganda lightning cables nila, madali masira

Pros.
Video quality (1080p) is OK for the price
Big screen (4.3")
PIP front and back cameras
Discreet (clipped to rear-view mirror)
Cheap
Good build

Cons.
Poor rear camera - good only for parking assist
Does not automatically start recording when car is turned on
