Actually, yan mismo tint ng Monty ko ... So far, OK naman with Osram Night Breaker ... Try kong mag grab ng night footage later ... 16gb lang kasi sdcard ko kaya nao overwrite agad

Novatek NT96650 chipset and Aptina AR0330 sensor.

One thing that I'm trying to figure out is the reason why I can't get a GPS fix.

Probably that its either because of the tint or because it was cloudy and I'm hoping it's just the latter [emoji28] [emoji41]

on a medyo related na experience, i found out that my generic dvr without gps is interfering sa gps of my avt HU. tagal mag fix at mahina signal pag nilapit ko yung dvr sa gps antenna ng HU

Medyo mataas pa ang focus ng cam mo Sir. Try mo pang itungo. Yung kita ng konti ang dashboard para less ang view ng kalangitan. Unless gusto mo rin ma-capture mga eroplano at ibon. DP220 din gamit ko.

Here's mine. Binabaan ko yung video quality para mabilis mai-upload. Kung mapapansin mo kita ng konti yung dash at bonnet/hood ng car ko. Medyo itutungo ko pa nga sya ng konti eh.

When any dashboard camera is installed its location should have these attributes:

The dash cam should be faced slightly down to limit glare and improve a cameras white balance.
Ensure the bonnet is captured in the footage from the dashboard camera.

Everyone loves the sky but, unless you're trying to capture the next meteorite landing, you should limit the amount of sky you capture as you drive. The more sky you have the more sunlight you get which results in more glare, reducing the quality of the video. The camera will also try to compensate for the brightness of the sky, darkening the video, which can make the detail on other vehicles harder to make out. It doesn't matter if you record more of the car dashboard - as long as you capture the road ahead.

Between 300 to 400 MB kasi kinalalabasan ng 3 minute video nya.

Medyo may kabagalan lang line ba gamit ko now pero by lunch siguro tapos ito

Will wait for clear skies tapos try ko ilabas yung cam. If it get a gps fix paktay na kasi it would mean hirap makatagos sa tint
