Autopage RF425/420

Any comment on the Autopage RF425/420 security alarm system? Just planning to upgrade to this system. How far is the effective range? How about the shock sensor, just right or too sensitive?

I'm also on the lookout for a car alarm...the alarm on my civic seems to be needing a replacement soon.

I have read that this Autopage RF 425 has Auto Window Rollup/ Roll down feature. It has also the autostart feature and includes of course shock sensors. 5K daw ba yung unit and installation? Saan po ba meron?

any other alternatives out there?

i got RF-425 LCD sa Blue Lazer Corp, authorize dealer ng Autopage Alarms.

Alarm: RF-425 LCD 5,500
less: 5% discount (ikaw nang bahalang humirit, mababait naman sila nakuha ko kasi yung sa akin ng 10% dahil nagpakabit pa ako ng central lock system sa kanila)
additional: P150 per wirring for additional features (roll up/roll down, trunk release etc.)

Yung range ok naman, the shock sensitivity pwede mong i-adjust.. Yung sa akin dual mode (light bump, 3 chirp alarm, not to noisy parang alert lang. Hard bump dun palang magwangwang ng todo. Very good feature especially kapag sa labas ka nagpark) Very accomodating yung mga taga Blue Lazer Corp, mabait pa.

kasama na sya sa feature, actually basic feature nya ata yun. total damage mo dyan sir mga P6900... P5,500 for the autopage RF425 (mas mura yung 420 kung may stock pa sila, papunta ko kasi dun yung RF-320 (not LCD, mas mura pa sa RF420 kasi 2 channels lang ata ito) at RF425 (LCD) lang ang available) then central lock for 4 doors P1,400 if may trunk realese (kung car type ka) additional P150 for the wirring.

yep, pricey pero sulit naman... ingat lang sir sa LCD kasi prone sya mabagsak (lalo na kung magkasama sa susi ng car mo) ika nga nasa pagdadala lang yan hehehe

Thanks for the tips! nahulog ko nga kanina yung remote, buti na lng di nabasag. Medyo mabigat ksi case nya. The only downside neto pla eh yung range di masyado malayo nararating. Mga 40-50 meters lng effective range nung ni-try ko.

May problem ako dito sa alarm na to, ksi pagnagstart ako ng engine at may bukas na pintuan, after ko isara yung pintuan at i-lock yung mga pintuan using power lock, ayaw na gumana ng power lock. I'm using innova J kaya yung central nya ay after market lng. Pwede ba i-setup na hinde na mag-auto lock after ng engine start?

may feature ba ang alarm na ito na speed sensing central door lock? i mean, most of the aftermarket alarm would have the feature of locking all the doors upon turning on key ignition...but i want something that has a delay in locking the doors up to a certain point of achieving a speed of say 20kph.

Wla ata. Pero mo lng ata lagyan ng delay

Autopage will lock the doors when you start the car and will unlock when you switch off the engine but you can lock and unlock the power locks anytime. My set up is driver priority so when I unlock the door, only the driver side will unlock, all doors will unlock only if you press unlock the second time.

This feature is also available onthe lower end model.

Lcd itself is a remote, when you purchase the alarm, you got one remote with lcd and one ordinary remote (no lcd, five buttons)

Ganda ng LCD ng RF425 . Mine is 420, check ko nga sa blue lazer if I can upgrade with 425's LCD.

Mga sirs, need your help and opinion, i have RF-425 alarm and was installed by Blue Lazer last week pero problem ko yung sa trunk release feature. When in ARM/LOCK condition at nag-trunk release ka, natritrigger yung alarm nya kpag i-aangat mo na yung trunk but this only happens every first attempt mo ginamit yung trunk release na napahinga yung kotse (eg. after a few hours nakapark o nakapark overnight) Nakakapagtaka nman after na nkapag-alarm na upon the first trunk release try at inulit mo immediately mag trunk release eh di na sya ulit aalarm kahit ilang beses mo pa ulit ulitin i-trunk release sa remote. Babalik lang ulit yung pag-alarm nya kapag napahinga na naman ng matagal yung kotse at sa unang attempt ulit ng pag-gamit ng trunk release habang pag-angat ng trunk . Mababa na rin naman ng sensitivity setting ng alarm ko.

Binalik ko sa blue lazer kahapon yung oto, ok naman daw lahat ng settings at pinalitan na rin nila ng bagong module yung alarm ko. Sabi din nila BY-PASS yung alarm during trunk release at no way na mag-alarm sya dapat. Pero pag-uwi ko at naipahinga ko na naman yung kotse ganun na naman nun gabi at nag-alarm ulit sya sa pag-angat ko ng trunk upon the trunk release from the remote.

Right now, DINIDIS-ARM/UNLOCK ko muna yung kotse before ako magtrunk release para di sya muna mag-alarm.

Dun po sa mga nka RF-425 kmusta trunk release nyo? Nag-aalarm ba pag-angat nyo ng trunk in ARM condition. Ano kaya problem nun sakin?

I just had it installed yesterday. Im so happy.

But the installation lasted 8hrs., i arrived at 9am at Blue Lazer, finished at 5pm. I availed all the features, Autostart, Trunk release, and ang nagpatagal sa lahat is yung Windows Roll up and Down sana, the problem was the wiring of the Altis 10th Gen was not the usual 2-3 wires lang, there were 7 thin wires, di padaw sila naka encounter ng ganito at mahirap daw magbakasakali at baka may masira pa, kaya hindi na nila tinluoy yung sa Windows. Pag alam na daw nila pwede ko daw ibalik dun.

So yun talaga ang nagpatagal sa pagkabit. Other than that, it was all good.
