So far the BLINDER have worked well. When I had them first installed, I tried testing them at Macapagal Ave where I knew the MMDA used lidar. Although I drove at legal speeds, I had both my V1 and BLINDER operating when I passed by the speed-trap. I also made several passes with my BLINDER turned on and off with the V1 running.
For the times the blinder was off, the V1 lidar alert only went off ONCE per pass. This meant the lidar operator was able to lock-on to my vehicle and measure my speed.
For the times I had the Blinder turned on, the V1 and Blinder sounded their alerts twice or more per pass (60kph is very slow). This means the lidar operator was trying to measure my car after failing to lock-on the first few times or until my car passed his lidar position.
During this entire experiment, the beeping and alarm noises from the V1 and Blinder made me feel as if I was flying a fighter jet with missile lock alarms going off. hahaha! I wished I had missiles to fire back at the "baddies".
