guys ask ko lng kasi parang hindi na gumagana rear sensors ng exalta ko....kasi pag reverse tutunog siya which i think it indicate na aatras, pero napapansin ko pag malapit na sa poste wala akong makitang sign or tunog na tatama na....

ano kaya problem nito?....yun sensor na mismo?

    Guys,

Question lang.

Ang I'm not saying it was me, hehehe... eto yung nangyari. Sa madilim na basement parking sa isang mall, I started parking my car on reverse. As I backed up midway pa lang, the sensor started to beep and then soon enough it had the continuous beep which signaled me to stop immediately. When I went to full stop, I opened the door and inspected the back... may bwiset na bobang naka-park na sobra sa slot nya, occupied na yung sa tapat nya (slot ko). Wala kasing stopper dun sa part nya (fault ng mall, in fairness to her) so sinagad nya until she felt the stopper touch her tires. But still, she should've noticed na hindi pantay yung kotse nya sa mga katabi nya.

Hahaha.

Anyway, rant aside... if I didn't have a backup sensor, I may have hit her car while parking... dahil ang dilim dilim talaga nung basement parking na yun, tapos malay ko bang may ganun kabobo mag-park.

Let me know kung dapat kong i-edit at palitan ng "tangerks". :D

Nga pala, I still believe na yung mga LED/LCD displays nung obstruction distance ay hindi masyado kailangan. Kasi based sa pattern nung tunog ng beep, alam mo na ang approximate distance anyway... no need for the exact distance, backing up is not an exact science. :D

There are kits designed like that.

Two sensors for the back and two more sensors to be installed at the front corners.

The kit I saw even have a small display to give the driver a visual guide on which sensor and how close it is to the obstacle.

2 eye sensors are selling for around Php900 sa sulit.com and they come with a visual (bar graph type) representation/display.

I got two sets (for a Jazz and Crosswind). Both work as advertised. A good investment.
