Hello everyone. I am new here and was just looking through google about HID's on reflector housings when I came about this forum.

I own a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport and i just recently put bixenon 6500k's. And I must say its a nice improvement from my yellow halogen bulbs. Its has an OK cut off line. a small glare on the top of the cut of line, but not bad. I was wondering is this glare bad for other drivers? I have not been able to take some pictures but I will soon. I had to adjust my angle because before they were high, now their nice and low.

However, I want to retrofit but I dont want to ruin my housing. I've been trying to look for some that already have been retrofitted but I couldnt find any. Do you know someone who can do it?

I also have a problem with my 9007 bixenon not working. When I switch on my high nothing happens. And my high light indicator always stays on. I have tried switchin cables but it only works when i flick my high beam switch on again. I have yet to figure out whats wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

for retrofitting jobs better leave it to the pros. less hassles. you got PM bro.

with regards to the bixenon not working, it can be the bulbs solenoid thats busted or just wiring issues.

you think maybe the computer think it has a blown bulb since the xenon use 35w and halogen uses 55w?

i tried puttin in my original halogens and having one of them unplugged and my high beam light stays on.

nope it will not cause that. whether your bulb is 35w or 55w there should be no issues, unless you run at higher wattage in which can burn the wires or bust the fuse.

it appears there is a problem with your electrical wiring if thats the case.

Hello sir Nighthawk. Question po. Are the projector headlights being sold for the Altis in Sulit.com any good. The seller said it's from Taiwan.

    Thanks in advance po.

first you have to check the bulb type the projector uses. if its anything that uses halogen, then im gonna assume that the output is crap.

if it uses anything that resembles a hid bulb like the D series bulb, then its a good buy.

nevertheless the only way to find out is to test the light output in person.
