BTW Gary, if ever my friend who owns the GM City that I've driven happens to be interested in upgrading his headlights ( since it is REALLY crappy -- and I guess you would second this ) refer kita agad. Will just let u know.

maka tanong lang po...may nakapag sabi sa akin na dinadakip daw po itong mga HID users...ano po ba talaga totoo dito? baka kasi habang nag di-drive tayo e tapos bibigyan ng tickets dahil dito.

*mada - Matagal ko narin po naririnig yung balita na to as a user ng HID for almost 9yrs. (Since 2003), never pa naman ako naka encounter ng pinara dahil sa HID. Bukod dun, sa mga officials from our government sila mismo naka HID ang mga sasakyan nila so bakit nila ipagbabawal ito sa iba kung sila mismo naka HID di ba? hehe..

May I add din Sir na kapag naka projector po kayo ay mas lalong there's no reason for you para parahin ng mga pulis/ traffic enforcers since by using a set of projector headlights, kahit naka HID pa po kayo you won't cause blinding glare to other motorists. Di kagaya ng pag nag HID ka lang without projectors, kahit pa i-aim mo ng pababa ay nakaka silaw parin talaga sa oncoming traffic.

So I guess, if gusto niyo mag HID pero you want to make sure na hindi kayo masisita, mag projector retrofit po kayo. For sure hindi kayo paparahin kahit saan ng dahil lang sa HID. =)

I don't even think those TE's can differentiate HID kits from halogens. Unless, of course, the HID kits are of 8000k up.

My retrofits will have, basically the same output as cars coming with oem hid projectors like the CRV 4x4, Subaru Legacy, etc so hindi ka talaga huhulihin pera na lang kung mag counterflow ka, haha. In more than 2 years of using my retrofit, not once na nahuli ako. Ayaw din naman natin maka abala sa ibang motorista, safety pinaguusapan dito.

Got a hold of the new FXR, version 4.0 na. Finally straight na yung cutoff coming off the box and much uniform light distribution. Eto on a Starex 2001 model, stage3 oem running on 50w, smoked new headlamps, with angel eyes
