mas maganda pa rin ang mag oem hid fitted cars. they use 4300 kelvin rating. i don't understand why some people buy hid and choose the higher kelvin rating... porma lang ata habol. buy your moneys worth just my 2 cents... go for 6000k or lower... without removing the difuser and syempre right and correct adjustment for the headlight para hindi nakakasilaw...
HID kits nowadays come with bulbs for every size.
Correct. Di mo lang masusulit yung liwanag ng HID with a stock headlamp assembly as compared to a projector type assembly. So, if you were to install an HID, do a post installation alignment para mabawasan yung silaw sa kasalubong.
di sing sabog yung buga if your lens is clear (multireflector type), vs yung mga lens na may linya (diffused). may pumapayag naman magtest ng installation. pero baka against the wall lang ang reference or baka di pa masyadong madilim. what brand were you planning to buy?
yes. but same as with headlamp housings, you don't maximize the HID's efficiency. pero it will be brighter than stock halogen, assuming you don't get the HIDs with larger Kelvin ratings.
sad to say sabog talaga hid when retrofitted to a reflector lamp
initially I thought the excess glare was only a problem with the h4's
Wrong!!! i retrofitted my headlight (H1 kit 4300k) with just the same result
I think the main problem is the lamps specifically designed for halogen bulbs just can not handle excessive amounts of light that HID's emit kaya ayun! glare ang labas.
Although you will surely have better vision at night time there is just too much glare to oncoming traffic and even worse you will get flashed at most of the times so ung lakas ng ilaw mo wala rin kasi silaw ka rin
Lahat ng light cut off ng headlight mawawala or mabublur rin dahil yun nga d talaga intended for HID ang lamp
I'm just finding time to have mine removed as courtesy to all fellow motorists.
As for me though you may find it very tempting and affordable ang HID's (8t as compared to 60t when it first came out in the 90's) just save it and but a good Osram or Phillips brand.
sir i installed a 4300k HID and yes I must admit malakas ang glare, stray light abounds. Am planning to smoke my headlight glass with only the central core free of smoke, sort of having the sides tinted to avoid stray lights.
Eto naman ung Delica projectors
ganto sya sa loob..
iba pa ung cut-off nya kse right hand drive, so we put in a sheet of metal para pumantay sya.
eto ung final.. 6000K H.I.D. on a delica projector housing, installed on a mazda familia.
and, nde pa sya pantay. hehehe. need to adjust again.
* but lately, para din nde maging hassle kahit naka projector housing na ako. i removed the HID and installed a 50/60 Watts Hella H3 Bulb. And kung may certification man sila or something.
