    this post cost me 25k. woohoo tinanggal ko na HID ko. 2 months ago pa. dahil sa dami ng nasisilaw ko. reflector housing and rebased HID kit big NO NO!!!! dont make the same mistake I did.

    buti na lang dito sa u.s. nasisita yung mga naka aftermarket hid na hindi street legal. kahit naka suv na rin ako minsan nakakasilaw pa rin pag kasalubong o pag nasa likod (reflection sa mirrors).

    kaya pala halos lahat ng naka-HID dito eh, nakakasilaw kasi mali ang cut-off ibig sabihin, nagsalpak lang sila ng HID nila sa lumang housing. swerte nga ang MZ3 na naka-projector haedlamps na...same as ford lynx.

    nagtataka rin ako before kung baket kelvin rating ang pinagmamalaki ng ibang nagbebenta and not lumens.... the latter dictates how well it lights up the road... yung kelvin kulay lang yun eh hehe.

    NO. HIDs are brighter than halogen. Kaya ka nasisilaw, I would assume you didnt read the entirety of the link, dahil hindi nga projector lamps ang nilalagyan ng mga aftermarket. Kung Projector lamps ang headlight mo, hindi ka makakasilaw dahil sa glare. Pero nakakasilaw talaga ang HID kung nasa 'direct path' ka ng beam.

    Saka baka naman mga HID-like na bulb lang ang nilalagay sa cas nila kagaya ng ricers dito sa US.

    In addition, yung paniwala na nawawala ang highbeam sa aftermarket HID ng headlamp eh dahil single lamp dual filament lang ang gamit ng car.
