I'm using generic mini H1 then 55w ballast, ok naman. Best decission para saken kesa mag mount ng pair of fogs ... hopefully no issues sya. So far so good :D

D.i.y. install lang

Yung low beam sa pic dark yung sa baba, pero its not covered ng line of sight from the cabin since mataas yung auto ko. Sa labas ko kinunan ng shot since cam fone lang gamit ko. Its not perfect maybe due to my first time to install. But hey at 5.2k + d.i.y. skills i cant complain... hehehe

Take note yellow po ang street lights dyan... and i'm using 4300k light color

lately nabawasan na yung mga gumagamit ng HID sa reflector housings...
pansin ko lang...
maybe na realize na ng drivers na mas madilim ang HID na nilagay sa reflector housing versus stock halogens.

pero still kahit mag drive ka magdamag konti pa din ang naka projectors...

nice job sa diy. haha kung may abilidad din ako, ganyan na rin gagawin ko hahaha by the way, anong brand ng hid gamit mo? china 55w 4300K? and ano yung projectors mo?

balak ko sana yung audi q5 projectors since malaki naman yung space ng headlights ng car ko. will pair it with a decent 55w 4300K hid sana.

Bro kita ko yung video and based sa mga napapanuod kong mechanism ng high/low is malaki yung chance na yung solenoid ang may issue dyan. na-s-stuck sya.

It seems your proj is Q5 based from the high beam output. Yang projector na yan has very big/beafy solenoid and you can literally hear it engaging. Pwedeng yung shield ay naiipit on the guide. Only way to find out is to reopen

Weird kasi minsan it's working perfectly fine naman pero sobrang bihira. And randomly sya nagloloko. Pag nastuck up sya naghahanap ako ng lubak para bumalik sa Lo or I stop then tap the HL. Hassle lang.

baka di maganda connection o meh problem sa pinag kabitan ng + at - nang contacts nung solenoid....
ground wire at positive supply wire for the solenoid.
try mu sir tignan yung connection points para sure na hindi sa wires o contacts

nangyayari ata talaga ung ganyang na-stuck ung solenoid, possibly defective sya. pag pinanood mo ung mga installation video ng TRS, recommended nila i-test fire ung hi beam at least 100 times ata kasi common problem yan ng mga solenoid.

Was at Circuit Makati last night to check on the Kart track. May ilaw na nga, so pwede nang mag-night race ala Singapore! Anyhow, only the track was lit so I took this chance to photograph the output of the bixenon MH1 (c/o Pao).

I didn't step out of the GS anymore. The camera was positioned roughly above left side view mirror.

Low Beam only


High Beam (of the projector and the oem high beams)

Nangyayari din pala yang stuck up shield sa ibang type ng projectors. Ang alam ko lang na notorious dyan ay MH1.

Agree ako kay sir Ginnova na sumasabit yung shield sa guide kaya hindi sya matulak ng spring pabalik sa low beam position.

Pinarefrofit mo ba or DIY? Kung professional retrofitter gumawa, ibalik mo para mabuksan at makita kung bakit sya sticking. Depende siguro kung may parts yung gagawa kaya sana mechanical tweak lang maayos na.

baka stuck-up or may sabit yung shield mo sir since if I'm not mistaken, most(if not all) of the shields goes down when it is on high beam mode. Kaya siguro kailangan nyo pang mag hanap nang lubak para mag hi-beam.

Just a quick question , what if Hid is used on a stock projector instead of a halogen? Will the output be same ? Glare rin ba?

you can try it on the driver's side then compare the glare when both are turned on at the same time. then compare the output and how far you see on the road. driving on a dark road there shouldn't be a brighter area before the farthest reach for the dipped beam. this makes driving fast on highways difficult.
