yellow for me, porma na, useful pa. ganda ng view pag umuulan or even when it doesnt rain, maliwanag talaga. although clear ang tint ng advie ni tito, kya mas maliwanag pa. use yellow bulbs in low beam and fog lights sa advie na pampasahero. palit din ako sa altis ko ng yellow for low beam and fog lights this weekend sana. we are talking bout birght yellow colored bulbs, right? not the stock yellow?

sakit lang sa mata pag maling allignment. parang hid pero mas masakit sa mata dahil matinkad na dilaw imho.

    OT:
anu ba magnda brand ng yellow HB4 and H3 type bulbs, anyone?

"use yellow bulbs in low beam"

sige po gawin nyo yan at pag nagkita tayo huhuliin ko kayo. May international rule regarding the use of yellow as the low beam. Here are the INTERNATIONAL rules about lights sa mga vehicles. Ang dami naming nahuhuling ganyan sa US and Germany. Haven't you ever wondered why car manufacturers don't install yellow low beams eventhough it provides great visibility???

    Check ECE and SAE standards.

Blue and yellow headlights (24011 VC). Headlights must be white - blue and yellow are illegal. Look for the DOT symbol on the bulb and package.

Headlights brighter or higher wattage than those from the factory (24011 VC). You may be able to see better, but the lights are illegal.

Tail lights other than red (24600 VC).

Illegal brake lights (24603 VC). Brake lights on vehicles newer than 1979 must be red. (Vehicles older than 1979 may be red or yellow.)

Lack of rear reflectors (24607 VC). Two red reflectors are required on the rear of cars and trucks.

Incorrect color of turn signal (24953 VC). It must be white or yellow to the front, red or yellow to the rear.

Red lights to the front (24003 VC). They are illegal except on emergency vehicles.

Tail lights that incorporate a bulb with a red tint or coating. In general, custom tail lights that incorporate a clear outer shell and red inner lens are legal (24011 VC). If they don't incorporate reflectors, they must be added to the vehicle (24607 VC).

Tail lights that are too dim, washed out or show yellow, white or other colors (24600 VC).

Illegal color of side marker lights (25106, 24003 VC). If present, must be yellow in the front and red in the rear.

Driving with just parking lights on (24800 VC). Vehicles that have factory-installed automatic daytime running lights must meet federal requirements and are legal.

Illegal decorative lights (24003 VC). All flashing decorative lights are illegal (25250 VC). This includes neon lighting.

Illegal windshield washer nozzle lights (25106 VC, 24003 VC). Only white or yellow are allowed.

Lights attached to tire valves (24003, 25250 VC).

Lighted license plate frames (unless red) (24003 VC).

Illegal lights, whether or not they are operating. It is illegal just to have them on the vehicle (24003 VC).

    Yellow for the foglamps, bro....

Bakit sa France,- if I remember correctly, about 1 in 10 vehicles (?) yellow ang headlights? Bawal na ba ngayon ito sa Europe and internationally?

The reason kung baket ang sa France is yung mga iba nilang auto has yellow headlight is because that was their "original" headlight color during their early industrial age. Now, they want to follow the international standard kasi they also purchase their vehicles from other countries naman. That's why I didn't mention France in particular because they're still adopting to this regulation. Ang Pinas naman eh adopt regulation, implement regulation then after a few weeks or months.. kalimutan nalang natin?! Kung local policy nga naten di kaya sunduin eh what more ang International standards diba?
