Checked in a Porsche forum (wala kasi ako Porsche eh lol):
Coming home lights: by default lights stay on for 2 mins after turning off the car.
A new Macan owner was asking the same question kasi bakit daw hindi nag off yung ilaw ng car nya
On the topic of the car bags again, here's a news report from China:

Shhhh... wag ka maingay, magagalit si 111Prez niyan.
Here's another version by a diff. manufacturer. Parang mas durable yung plastic, and may 2 additional straps pa para hindi anurin yung plastic bag:

If you'll put that much effort to wrap your car then might as well exert a little much more to move it instead to a higher ground na lang.

In years past, I've seen vehicles parked sa taas ng Dimasalang Bridge because the whole environs were flooded na.
What if puno na yung mga high grounds to park by similarly minded people (naunahan ka na)?![]()
insurance claim process.
Yung unit po kasi namin is innova 2016 model and insured sya for 600+k.
Note: casa maintained po yung auto namin.. please advice thnak you po!
Pang down nalang to ng brand new vehicle.
Pero di ba dapat icheck yung ng tao nila since pano malalamn kung aabot nga ng 900k yung gagasyusin to repair eh pixture lng yung nakita nila di naman yung makina mismo.
Or meron pa yung mga bawas?
couple of years back, my 2017 honda city got flooded din, insured amount was 603K, was offered 555K less 15K deductible depreciation. got a check worth 540K.
add:
just last month, i happened to see that car again running sa may naiax, still looking shiny,Also wonder, pano ang kalakaran sa mga total loss vehicles, sino ang kumukuha at nag aayos, and do they tell would be buyers of its history?
la lang.

In my case naman, mautak na din si casa, ang initial quote nila for repairs is a measly 37K, it only covers basic PMS + cleaning ng carpet/seats, then, after that, dun pa lang daw nila ma-assess ang extent ng damage, para at least, kumita na din agad sila. pina describe na lang ni insurance agent + picture nung flooding ng area, then, pull-out na lang sa casa, and declared as total loss.
in my opinion,
if the water reaches the dashboard, i would insist it be written off as total loss.
issues traceable to submersion may still arise, even a year after the fixing. and i doubt if the casa or whoever fixes it up after submersion, will put a one-year warranty into writing.

in my opinion,
let's not think of the insurer. let's talk about us.
owning a submerged-but-repaired car, is a potential headache.
i'd probably choose to buy a replacement car that has good provenance, even if it will cost me more.
but let's wait for posters who had their submerged cars fixed, for their tales.
