December 18th, 2015 11:50 AM #2Our insurance through BDO is Prudential (if I am not mistaken).
This is our 4th year with them. First year after paying off our loan.
We pay it on 12-month installment basis up until now (even after the loan is fully paid).
We made a claim once for a cracked windshield.
It was a hassle free experience. All communications was done through a couple of phone calls and emails. And we get to talk only to BDO personnel and not the insurance company itself.
It was like:
1. Tell BDO about the problem and possible insurance claim.
2. Get quotation from casa.
3. Pay the participation fee (Php3,000 in our case)
4. Bring the vehicle to casa for repair.
Of course in between these steps, BDO, Prudential, and casa probably communicated with each other.
