Hello po mga sir! I recently got approved po sa autoloan via BPI and super newbie po ako so medyo nangangapa po ako sa process. Nasa page 58 na ko ng thread and marami na ko natutunan kaso medyo nalilito pa rin ako. haha

Anyway ang sabi sakin ng kausap ko sa bank is if may unit/dealer na ko, I can just send them the quotation tapos isesend nya sakin ung quote ng bank then nung nagkausap kami nasabi ko kasi na wala pa ko kausap na dealer so sabi nya I can just give her my preferred brand/model then sila na kokontak sa mga dealers.

Question ko lang, mas ok ba na sila ang kumausap or ako na lang humanap ng mga dealers? Hindi ko po kasi alam kung saan ako mas makakuha ng better deal or if pwede ba na ipakita ko sa nag-assist sakin sa bank ung quote nung agent then I can haggle for the price. Thanks po sa mga sasagot!

First off, congrats! I don't have time to respond to everything at the moment, but I urge you to pay attention to this one detail: I strongly recommend contacting your own dealer, so you are in control, not necessarily of pricing, but availability. In my case, my bank contacted the dealer for me initially. They said things were good, that I was 5th in line to get my car. Then suddenly, when I asked the dealer, I had magically gone 27th. This would not work for me, because I need the car in a month.

So, I ended up contacting 4 toyota dealers myself, and personally managed which one would give me the car fastest. Once I confirmed the dealer who would do that for me, all I need to do was send my bank the quote from that dealer I chose, and my bank sent that dealer my Purchase Order (PO) from the bank, and we lived happily ever after (not really, but I got my car in less than 2 weeks).

Its a Red flag for banks. But it doesnt mean they wont approve you. They will just be more diligent in examining your capability to pay. The reason is if the spouse has a credit issue they will wonder why the other spouse (you) werent able to help him resolve it to begin with.


Lesson to everyone who has a loan or is about to apply for a loan: dont screw up your credit rating. Especially with the strengthened credit sharing interconnection and govt mandated credit rating agency.

Okay lang yang gusto mo.

Find a dealer that will give you the best deal and once you're finally decided, yung quotation na yun ibigay mo sa bank

Thanks po mga sir. So may nakausap ako na isang dealer. Ung binigay sakin na discount ng nakausap ko na dealer is 20k for Suzuki Ertiga, ok na ba yan mga sir or makakuha pa ko ng better deal? LTO is free na 9,600 daw tapos standard ung freebies hindi naman na ko nagexpect na marami ung freebies kasi hindi in house financing. Thanks po uli!

Matagal talaga mag order these recent months, baka hino hoard nila yun mga units para sa price increase next year

kausapin mo yung SA or supervisor me unit yan, minsan kasi pag hindi sa kanila yung car loan iniipit nila tapos aalukin ka accessories para magkaron unit.

Question po. First time mag loan sa car, tinanong ko yung SA kung may mortgage fee sa toyota financing. Yung binigay nya daw na quote is leasing hindi mortgage. Ano po pinagkaiba nun sa mortgage? Pag sa bank kasi mortgage dba.
