if you didn't completed the payments, then it's a default.

it does not matter kahit anong writing gawin nila. what matters is the input they do sa central system.

yep default na basta hindi payoff or completed yung terms. kasi may computation na yung mga loan na yan if its spread over 2, 3, 4, 5 years (not to mention the interest they lost). at least dapat may penalty involved kung babalik mo lang yung oto.

IMO if you placed an ad na willing ka benta car assume balance then kahit bigyan ka na lang ng pangyosi, may kukuha niyan. its better to give it away than return it to the bank.

EDIT: ako din interested kung anong bank yan. makasubok nga ng benz. meron sila promo sa c class na low down payment.

Kanya kanya lang yan, if the TS doesn't want the headache of selling the car with assume balance that's fine. Some headaches are not worth the money...

Pero sayang parin yung chance to get the car, jackpot yung nag handle ng account nya, sigurado sold na yun internally sa bank.

that's beside the point. what we are talking about if it's possible to return a car to the bank w/o affecting one's credit standing, and majority of us believes it's not possible.

wala palang kwenta yun pinirmahan promissory note with the bank when he got the loan. kasi pwede naman palang ibalik anytime ayaw na.

Me kwenta yun, because it is the form that legally binds the borrower to the bank. The car is the collateral, which in default of payment assures the bank that it will not suffer losses from that transaction. What the TS has done was to recede from the transaction in goodfaith which bank saw as a most advantegeous situation since it will earn profit from the termination of the loan contract.

A very Merry Christmas to All!!! Cheers!!

You should have tried selling the car online before returning it. Ang dami nasasayang, pwede mo e benta palugi, madami bibili. Gentz ba, madami bibili if the price is right.
