pansin ko lang, andami nang LPG refilling stations, and a lot of taxis converting to LPG. in the meantime, ung CNG had the backing of the government and several big bus companies, pero mukhang naglaho na.

why did it fail? purely out of ningas kugon attitude ba ng government? or are there more serious technological issues, like problems in production, storage, transport, etc?

Simply because it's mainly backed by the government and NOT by private companies. It's also cheaper to adapt a taxi to run on LPG than to convert a bus to use CNG.

And LPG can be used by private vehicles as well... Using CNG in private vehicles seems impractical.

Not many people are into CNG yet.

The Shell CNG station doon sa may Northbound side ng SLEX is finished pero it is not yet operational. According to Shell, there are still a few technical issues needed to be addressed.

Possibly next year operational na siya (siguro within H1) but definitely not within this year
