Update on Ford Everest MT 2012 XLT:

    100% City Driving - 8.225 km/l using Caltex Diesel
100% City Driving - 8.575 km/l using Petron Diesel Max

Average from 4 Full Tanks, a 4.25% difference from Caltex and Petron. Same route and time everyday, Pasig-Makati (10-11AM) Makati-QC-Pasig (8-10PM)
Haven't tried Shell yet since Petron is the cheapest Diesel I have seen so far (with 3% rebate from BPI-Petron Mastercard).

Highway Driving - 11.0 km/l Petron Diesel Max (85% Highway Driving)

renz, do believe what you see? or see what you believe?

    see: NUVIMAX ...#360

    Quote: Excerpts from ETV
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Vehicle ' Baseline ' W/ Nuvitron ' %Fuel efficiency
    gasoline engine ' w/o device '
    --------------------------------------------------------------------'--------------------------
    98KIA Pride 1.3L ' 20.94K/l ' 23.78K/l ' 13.56%
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our baseline should be 13+K/l; pero 20.94k/l sa baseline ng ETV. Why? I still think that it is due to residual effect of the devices. Nakakabit na ang dual-devices nuon. Nang pinatanggal, napakataas pa rin ang baseline namin.

Pls take note of the unusually high baseline. Wala tuloy naniwala sa inyo, but it is in the records for all to see. Kahit idisregard niyo ang dyno at emission test, something is there that could not be easily explained. Thank you

    Monday, June 4, 2012:
6:45am from cainta going PCMC via imelda ave > marcos hwy > aurora blvd > anonas > vluna > BIR road then UST via Q.Ave > espana.
    7:15pm from UST > Lacson > aurora blvd > n.domingo > bonny serrano > marcos hwy > imelda ave.
total travel time, 3hrs. total distance 47km
    16kph average speed
heavy footed most of the time (when overtaking or when green light on stop light)
10.3L/100km around 10Km/L since the on board computer isn't quite accurate

    2011 Focus TDCi Sport
    Shell V-Power Diesel

obvious naman siguro na rush hour, pure city and heavy traffic based sa route and time of travel ko diba? sana ganito tayo lahat magpost. mahirap sabihin ang light, moderate and heavy traffic since subjective yun. mas informative ang average speed, total distance travelled and total time of travel.
