here is my latest data for the isuzu dmax.
logged 11.95 km/L on combined city and highway driving. average speed is 90 km/h having 2,250 rpm range. the best so far that i managed is 13.25 km/L, pero di ko na maulit (under same city and highway driving, but no more than 1,850 rpm and 70 kph).
my bro's new city = 11km/l (first full tank after we got the car) medyo mababa pala..city driving with some highway driving.![]()
sir, me napansin ako. dati, nung bago yung dmax maswerte na ako pag naka-12 km/L ako. ngayon, average yun, having a feather foot. minsan nga kaya ng 12.7 km/L city and highway combined. pagtagal nyan titipid din yan kasi nakakagalaw na yung mga internals ng maigi. yung civic 96 ko, average nya ang 11 km/L hanggang ngayon. kaya lang wala kasi akong disiplina sa accelerator pedal (actually hirap ako, dahil mas madalas kong gamit yung dmax) dahil di ko mapalabas yung gusto kong result / response.
12km/L - city, highway ewan ko. Picanto.
Ang tipid naman ng cooper. May AC po ba yung 22km/L?
Eto latest.
8.0 km/li mostly city
12.0 km/li highway (tagaytay trip)
Xtrail 4 x 2
My APV matic is 7.3 km/li on city drives, 8+ if hiway, Caltex Silver
Vitara 95 with Khaos, 9km/li, city or hiway, Caltex Silver, regular Caltex oil
2002 Corolla Altis 1.6J AT
11km/L full city, 14km/L full highway (without Khaos fuel saver)
9km/L full city, 12km/L full highway, kung naka ECT power mode
I usually use Shell better mileage unleaded, tires newly changed to Bridgestone Turanza.
2005 Camry 2.4E ng dad ko
8km/L full city, 11km/L full highway
6km/L full city, 9km/L full highway, ECT power mode
Newly changed tires Bridgestone Turanza. Previous tires, flat kaagad, grabe!
I estimated my gas consumption using a 2001 ford expedition XLT 4x2 and its only slightly worse than my 03' chevy Optra A/T that was being driven by our heavy footed driver.![]()
I am gonna try to get the exact fuel economy of both cars with the expedition being driven economically by me.and the Optra being driven by our heavy footed driver. both being driven in rush hour city driving.
here's mine as of 8/13/04:
Isuzu DMax 2004
combined city and highway: 12.35 km/L
Honda Civic 1996 1.5L
combined city and highway: 10 km/L
Chevrolet Zafira AT 1.8- 6 kms/L city (estimates)
MB E230 AT 2.3 - 8.0 kms.L city
VW POLO M 1.6 - 7 kms/L city
Mazda Lantis AT 1.6 - 4.5 kms/L city
Honda HRV M 1.6 - 8.5 kms/L city
Ford LYNX AT 1.6 - 7.5 kms/L city
It is unusual but the Mercedes-Benz with the Largest engine consumes less gas-engine size ratio, than a normal car.
