sinubukan ko before yung Shell E10... ang pangit ng takbo... ang gaspang and parang lalo lumakas sa gas ang kotse ko.. parang tubig lang yata ang laman nun eh.

medyo offtopic na tayo. for diesels, 1% lang ang currently mandated. for gasoline, afaik - 5%. for further explanation, kindly see the biodiesel or biofuel thread.
bttt,
am not impressed with the new XCS Plus. my fuel consumption dipped to 7.3 km/L for one full tank of it.
mazda2x: dalawa na pala tayodo you know of any alternative? should be the same octane rating since carb pa engine ko
i heard that shells gas are BS daw...
i hope they bring the old xcs back
Kung 95 RON - I'm currently using Caltex Gold... mahal masyado ang Velocity. Ok din ang SeaOil G5 (preblended with 10% ethanol na ito).
Petron XCS plus has an additive coco methyl ester, since here in the Philippines
there is no supply for ethanol available locally , oil company has to import it from Austarlia or Brazil. Here in the philippines we already have some plant which process coconut oil to methyl alcohol specially down south.
I tried the new xcs.. works fine naman compare sa Shell E10. The only thing that I don't like with this product is the TV commercial with the three "pinoy" racers.. especially the camera angle nung isang driver. hehehe!![]()
How come they don't say how much additive they put? Can anyone say here?
Nag-search ako dun sa BF section pero strangely enough walang info on the specific provisions of the BFL. Nung nag-research ako sa wiki, ang detalye pala ay mandatory 1% bf for diesel upon effectivity (now yun), then 2% a year or two from now. Sa gas naman mandatory 5% in 2 years (that's 2009) and 10% in 4.
Paki-lipat na lang kung OT sana. Thanks.
Additives are closely guarded company secrets. You shouldn't confuse that with the mandatory ethanol content in the Biofuel law.
It is just coincidental that the new additive that they are using are closely derived also from the sources of biofuels.
As of now, the ethanol component is not mandatory since gasoline companies are still developing local ethanol producing facilities.
sana makarating sa petron tong mga feedback. panget daw talaga...
marami ganun din ang sabi sa e10 ng shell.
nagpagas ako sa Total kanina naman.. mas maganda pa sya kesa sa new XCS! hehehe

speaking of tyson sy...loko talaga yun director yan pa ginamit na framing hehehe...
anyways...i tried using V-power now...its pretty pricey!!! but i am actually quite happy...mas ok kesa yun bagong XCS...any feedbacks on v power?
Boy if this is a preview pag inimplement ang BFL for gasoline, I hope they repeal or revise that law -- or magkakarun ng underground gasolines dito.
Grabe, bagsak mileage ko sa new XCS. I calculated my mileage on my third fill of the new XCS and I found out my mileage for the past two full tanks was bad compared to the previous type of XCS.
Any suggestions on another fuel type? Will I go for Caltex Gold with Techron or Petron Blaze? Pangit experience ko sa Shell V-power (Velocity). Ubusin ko lang fill ng new XCS then hanap ako pamalit. Sana ibalik nila yung old XCS.
