Mamasahe or Magkotse?

If it's not rainy, walking is ok. I remember walking often from UST to Lawton or even City Hall after a weekend soccer game. One time, I walked from UST to Baclaran. I followed the jeepney route from UST to City Hall to Ermita(?) to Rizal Coliseum to Baclaran.

If I do walk, I'd bring at least 2 hankies. I remember wiping my face and the hankie was black with grime. Yek.

Nung bago pa lang ako nagka-car, I use it maybe 2 or 3 times a week going to work. Syempre medyo ganado ang feeling mag-drive. But when gas prices started to shoot up, napaisip na ako. Hindi na practical mgdala ng car. Kaya ngayon, I made a personal vow to only use my car to work kung maiwan ako ng shuttle bus namin. Sa company shuttle namin, comfy din kasi may aircon (wala lang FM radio or mp3) and i can sleep during the 45-minute ride. And my transpo expense will only be P10/day (from house to our pickup point and vice versa if going home).

My car is mainly for city driving lang talaga. Pero if ever bababa ang gasolina, cguro i can drive more often.

For the past two weeks, na try ko mag jeep (at magkalad na rin by a certain distance) - sabi ko exercise ko na ito since summer konti mga students sa downtown baguio. Pero isang linggo pa lang akong ganon hindi na ako nakatagal. Bakit?
- lagi umuulan ng hapon (malalakas pa)
- biglang nagkakahiyaan ang mga jeep. Bihira na sila bumiyahe pag konti estudyante. 15-20 mins waiting time.

Result - even with unleaded gas nearing 51 per liter (dito po sa Baguio), napilitan na akong mag kotse. Circumstantial lang. Kahit gusto ko magtipid, in the end, napakahirap din gawin.

i take the lrt going to office, nung first 3 mos lang aku nagdala ng car mahal kasi ng parking and of course traffic pa! even though sinusundo sis ku sa lasal which is very near my office id rather take the lrt

50 petot lang balikan lrt1&2 fare vs 120 petot parking + 14km worth of fuel in heavy traffic, downside lang twice aku nadukutan ng cellphone

ako, everyday cguro going to work, mas mtipid mag car.
kasi opis ko, tapat bahay ko, tabi ng garahe ko. walk lang ako p punt sa car, start engine tpos paktay na engine after 5 mins, tpos walk na p punta opis.
pro misis ko, he he he. sana LRT n lng tpot shuttle ng kumpanya.
