going to work commute ako. madali lang biyahe ko kasi from bacoor, cavite to makati. iwas pa sa pagod pag traffic sa coastal. pero pag mga gala-gala lagi ko dala kotse. kahit sobra lapit lang sa amin. hehehe
magcocomute na ako
drive parin ako

10 to 15 mins walk lang new place ko from my work. ok lang walk ako everyday, the problem is my work hours - i usually get out of work around 2am. hirap maglakad ng ganung oras lalo na merong bitbit na laptop. so, i usually drive my car to work. i can reimburse naman sa company a given amount for gas.
pero i've been thinking of getting a scooter para mas tipid sa gas for daily service sa work. di naman masyado problem ang weather since super lapit lang ng place ko sa work.
^^ sir parang hindi prob masyado sanyo yung gas since kung lakad is 10-15 mins lang. hehehe :peace:
Dude there's a transport strike come May 12 so I guess you ain't got a choice![]()
SHARING IS CARING.....
Commute or car? Depends on the situation.
If we decide to retire there, we'd live in LPC (Dona Manuela Subdivision) once more. I'd commute or walk the majority of the time. I wouldn't need to work. So, being late isn't a concern. Neither will being out late at night. I'm not a night person. The supermarket and the mall are within walking distance. Just about everything else is a short jeepney ride away like a hospital.
I'm not interested in going to those big malls unless what I need can't be found nearby. If I do go to say, MOA, it'd be maybe once every couple of months just for the heck of it. I tend to support establishments close to home. If there's any part of Metro Manila that'll get my money, it's LPC.
The only reason I might need to have a car is either going to the US embassy or the airport. My wife still has a business in the Visayas. We may go back and forth between my place (LPC) and hers. For those, a taxi will do (for the luggage). Or we may end up getting a car after all (V6 sedan).
If I want to go on a tour, I'd go to a travel agency and go on one of those all-in-one tours with tourist buses.

Commute naman ako everyday eh (kahit gala pag weekends minsan pag ako mag-isa lang) so nothing changes. Nga lang, tataas malamang ang PUV fares.
Nahihiya ako mag post dito kahapon pa…kasi commute lang rin ako daily yan. 2 rides sa jeep ha? Bale 30 petos balikanNo FX for me – ayaw ko ng amoy, delikado pa kung ano mangyari.
Mahal parking dito sa work.
i have an allowance of 200 liters / month provided ng company so kotse pa rin. wag lang magsasara yung company namin at mamamasahe din ako.
Car pool naman kami ni misis almost all of the time,- kaya we drive to our workplace.....
6000:mobile:
if you really want to drive your car but having a problem with the cost of gasoline and you are having other problems with commuting, why not look at the alternative of converting your car to run on auto-LPG? It would save you 40% on the cost of fuel.
tamang-tama yung thread, nag-start na ko mag-commute nagyon lang, pamasahe ko 70 pesos lang so 140 balikan compared to 350 pesos of diesel at tollgate from mamplasan exit to kalaw ofc everyday. Laking difference talaga but nothing beats the comfort of driving your car kasi hawak mo oras at safe pa pag naulan, no choice have to save for the needs.
