May 12th, 2013 09:57 PM #1nope, you can shift to d,2 or l regardless of speed, it is actually recommended(check your car's manual) specially when your going up hill(in order not to loose momentum) and downhill(in order to slow momentum)
never put your auto tranny in neutral while moving it is just plain dumb to save a few peso worth of fuel and sacrifice your safety(and passengers or third person)
if you're buying a small car and wants fuel efficiency, always get a manual tranny (although the auto tranny now is leap forwards compared to their counterparts a decade ago) or go for the newer version of automatic transmission such as those found in the fiesta and the likes.
