Straight vegetable oil or SVO, may nakasubok na ba?

April 13th, 2005 12:54 PM #12pwede SVO or even WVO. On WVO you have to check for water content in the oil and also filter for impurities. Also properly heated WVO should go into your diesel engine and cross contamination should be avoided with diesel fuel. See frybrid.com, greasecar.com, etc. Pag umabot sa 45/liter ang diesel I will definitely use alternative fuel.

WARNING: do not do this on a gas range or with open flame. use an electric stove. kung meron kang lumang electric stove.. yung northern hill ba yun, pwede na yun. set mo sa low heat lang and do it in a well ventillated area, in your garage maybe. very flammable ang methanol pre.
kung di ka naman nagmamadali, pwede rin yata wag na initin, pero mas matagal lang reaction, saka kailangan din haluin. mga isang araw mong hahaluin yun pre, at di lang basta halo...kailangan halung-halo. sa umpisa kasi, hindi compatible yung methanol sa coco oil, you have to beat it together to mix well and get into intimate contact

From what i've seen sa internet, madali lang ang fabrication nung mga tank at stirrer. Excited ako dito ah! Biruin mo, you produce your own fuel.

ADDITIONAL PRECAUTION LANG: minimize skin contact with methanol. overdose of methanol in the bloodstream causes blindness.
yung lye (chemical name - sodium hydroxide, or caustic soda flakes/solution), hugasan mo agad kung malagyan ka sa kamay or any part of your clothing... corrosive yan. yan ang active component ng liquid sosa- yung binubuhos sa CR or lababo pag barado.
Good luck pre! ano brand name gagamitin mo pag successful ka na? garystrol? :twak:Last edited by rsnald; April 13th, 2005 at 06:40 PM.

April 14th, 2005 12:59 AM #19mojo: better if you mix BD with regular diesel.
Baka magalit Senbel sa akin He!he!he! Sa ngayon ideas lang ito. Pag umabot ng 45/ltr ang diesel....ummmhhh
