    it was mga 91 ata yun..walang low fuel warning light kasi ang chevrolet blazer naubusan ako ng gas sa edsa gitna ng buendia at ayala puno pa naman ng band equiptment..i had to buy a plastic pitcher from rustans kasi walang container sa shell..tapos ang hirap magtulak patabi dahil inclined yung road and mga bus ayaw magbigay...

    college days. driving a very used 1978 Ford Escort.

    3 times in fact.

    one at mandaluyong, buti na lang side street. nagdyip to the nearest gas station, petron near City Hall.

    one at guadalupe sa ilalim going to JP Rizal. nagtulak kami hanggang Shell (or caltex) ilang metro lang ang layo...

    the last at buendia/leveriza, buti na lang at hindi matrafik, nasa tabi ako, then sabay labas and lock ng pinto, bitbit ang isang container, karipas ng takbo sa petron sa fb harrison. takbo uli pabalik, buti walang nag-tow - hehehe.

    i always smile when i remember those misadventures...

    Happened to me once...sira pala yung gauge ko. Buti na lang I always keep a clean gallon in my trunk...park ko muna maayos yung ride ko then takbo to the nearest gas station.

    Yes. Sira pala gauge ng hiniram kong van. My friend brought about a gallon para lang may gas pumunta sa station.

    Almost. Stuck pala yung gauge ng 300SD. Akala ko madami pang laman. Putek biglang namatay sa EDSA. Nagstart pa naman pero panay ang patay.

    Hinihigop na pala lahat ng latak ng tanke. Bumara tuloy ang fuel filter.

    mahilig ako sa "oh the fuel warning light is on.. good for 50 kilometers pa yan!" ayun tuloy.. ayaw na mag-start, parang nahirapan pa yata yung fuel pump.. (have to check my fuel filter one of these days..) naglakad ako sa shell with 2x 2L coke bottles. red pala ang velocity! :D

    hindi pa naman...ksai praning ako eh...sa lakas ng consumption ng revo...dalas ko mag fill-up...

    gaano ba kadalas dapat mgpalit ng fuel filter?

    not my car, pero yung sa friend ko.
    low on gas na.. tapos pagkapark pa nya naka-incline in such a way na nung i-start nya, wala nang nahihigop na gasolina. :D

    hehe, kaya hirap din magpark na inclined lalo na pag low gas na..
