Additives lang pinagkakaiba nila. Once the base fuel is loaded, the lorry goes to another gantry where that particular brand's additives are injected.

So for Caltex, after their lorry loads 20 kl of 91 RON gasoline from (for example) Shell's depot, that's when their Techron additives are added.

For the fuel na binibenta sa generics, usually hindi na nilalagyan ng additives.

sir jut, so is it safe to assume na pag multinational brand yung station, the underground tanks are clean? kasi may isang station near our house, pero mukhang madumi yung station so never ako nagpa gas/diesel sa kanila.

Most, but not all. Meron pa ring mga patapon na dealer. Pero in my experience, pag metro stations naman more often than not ok ang wetstock management.

bro jut, generally mas maalaga ba ang big 3 sa mga dealers/franchise holders nila kumpara sa mga smaller players sa fuel industry?

PTT Regalado is one of PTT's flagship sites. Maayos yan. Like I said, basta inside Metro Manila, most likely maayos.

The only pure Shell depots in Luzon are Tabangao, Batangas and Poro Point, La Union, and Pasacao, Cam Sur. For the rest of their supply, they just borrow from other depots. This is the same case with all other brands. Petron and Caltex also borrow from Shell's Pasacao depot in South Luzon, Caltex borrows from Petron in Metro areas that their Batangas terminal can't serve. Etc etc - it's common practice in the industry.

I totally agree with sir jut. naghihiraman lang ng produkto mga yan, additives lang pinag kaiba. minsan ang depot sa Poro point ng petron, caltex & shell galing lahat sa bataan refinery, minsan 50/50 from bataan/tabangao refinery. Delivery to davao minsan galing lahat sa tabangao or bataan refinery for the big 3 petroleum company.
