There's also an option of having the tank in the spare tire area if you need the luggage space.
I saw the same car... the problem is that euro spec LPG kit will cost P60,000 for a typical 1.6L efi engine. You will not save much money if you plan to install in a car with an engine size of 2.0L or smaller. But if you have a Ford Expedition or a BMW 540, its another matter.

pssst... you might want to take note of the condition of your engine air-filter, especially if you are using an aftermarket cone type (or similar) filter. If it's old, replace it BEFORE installing the LPG kit.

This might be contrary to the point of having an LPG system installed but...

    The background:
I have my engine's timing set at 15 degrees BTDC (stock is 10). Ideally, LPG vs gasoline's ignition timing has a difference of 10 degrees.
My cone type filter is new (replaced my very dirty 3 year old K&N).
Re-tuned the LPG valve settings at NAIADSS just this week.

    The Ziggy:
Since my gasoline guage has been giving me the warning light for the last couple of weeks, I finally went to the gasoline station to get some gasoline (I use it to start the engine before switching to LPG). An "evil" thought came to mind, since my ignition timing is advanced, I can use better gasoline and get some added performance (if needed) so I went to get 10 liters of 95 octane gasoline (v-power) instead of the usual unleaded. Drove the car a bit (traffic was tight so it was only a couple of short runs) and it does feel a bit more preppy. I might be biased since I rarely drive the car using gasoline at all anyway.

    Just sharing...

Saw the same car. They said for a V6, its going to cost 80,000 plus VAT. Additional 5,000 if you want the donut tank. I wonder if it is still worth it. Maybe if you use your expedition as a daily driver and you really drive a lot. BTW, is the expedition a V6 or V8 cuz if its a V8 then masmahal pa.

ok lang... just keep in mind that the typical LPG kits available are a bit sensitive to the condition of your air filter.

Guys, aren't you guys OT? This is supposed to be a database of converted vehicles, right? Otherwise, if this will end up being a Q&A discussion of LPG systems, it'll be merged with the main LPG thread.
