yup note really interested in it. it lowers even more the power of your car e. eventhough mas mataas octane rating ng lpg mas mahina naman sya mag produce ng power. i think mas maganda dalhin nila dito yung mga kotse nila that can run on e80 tapos our gas stations also bring in e80 fuels instead of e10. ethanol based fuel more whomp for less gas money plus more environment friendly. here is a short explanation kung bakit pangit mag lpg. Nabasa ko lang to kasi naintriga ako before nung bago palang ang lpg as fuel for cars.
There are drawbacks to LPG conversion, but they are small when weighed against the benefits.
Empty LPG fuel tanks are constructed of heavier material and must be 20% more bulky than a petrol tank, simply because an LPG tank may never be filled to capacity. Some 20% of the tank volume must be left empty for expansion of the contents. Another factor is that LPG tanks are often fitted in addition to a vehicle's petrol tank as LPG is not as freely available as petrol (to date). Because of this most vehicles retain dual fuel capability and the vehicle's overall weight is increased and internal load space may be reduced.
Propane has a lower calorific value than petrol when vapourised (eto yung kung gaano kalakas tumulak ang lpg vs unleaded). In real terms that means the driver must put his or her 'foot down' more to achieve the same speed or rate of speed increase (acceleration). As the calorific value of LPG is some 20% lower than that of petrol (means 20% mas mahina magtulak ng kotse ang lpg kesa sa unleaded) the resulting consumption per litre or gallon is worse than petrol by a similar amount (means mas magastos ka sa consume ng fuel kesa lpg). This slight disadvantage is far outweighed by the price advantage (less than half of the cost kya masasabi nating mas matipid ang lpg kaya lang usad pagong k ehehehehehehe).
You'll cover 10 - 20% less miles per gallon or Km's per litre or gallon of liquid fuel when using LPG instead of petrol, but your overall fuel costs will still be more than halved (well kung ako papipiliin mas gusto ko makarating sa pupuntahan ko ng mabilis kesa tipirin yung fuel cost. time is priceless). Range is dependent on how much LPG may be stored by the vehicle and is directly proportional to the capacity of the tank(s) fitted to it. There are choices of where a tank may be sited and how large it (or they) are.

Generally only true for those using venturi lpg kits because of the intake constriction of the venturi itself. But even then, power is not down by much as compared to stock, especially in the low to mid range RPMs. Only in the higher rpms do I feel the drop in power.
You might want to check where you are getting your "facts" because SGI-LPG kits lose about 5% engine power after conversion. That is pretty much negligible for day to day driving.eventhough mas mataas octane rating ng lpg mas mahina naman sya mag produce ng power.
And where would you pump E85 gasoline? There is very very few stations selling E85 gasoline ... not to mention your fuel mileage on E85 would be 20% to 30% less than regular unleaded gasoline because of the lower energy density of ethanol vs gasoline. And importing ethanol compatible cars will not really solve fuel price problem since it would require people to buy new cars as compared to simply converting an existing car to run on either LPG or gasoline.i think mas maganda dalhin nila dito yung mga kotse nila that can run on e80 tapos our gas stations also bring in e80 fuels instead of e10. ethanol based fuel more whomp for less gas money plus more environment friendly.

in my case, the hole in my injector is 17mm yata, slow and kumakagjot pag high speed na ako, so pinalakihan ko to 23mm yata yung butas ng injector, then it run smooth and i got my acceleration that i want.
It really depends on the engine size, for Valtek rails, standard nozzle size are as follows from Valtek website.
- Calibrated nozzles available for standard flow version: 1,50mm - 1,75mm - 2,00mm - 2,25mm - 2,50mm - 2,75mm
- Calibrated nozzles available for increased flow “BFC” version: 3,00mm - 3,25mm - 3,50mm 8/16
For Innova 2.0, BFC coils with increased flow nozzle works wonder![]()
In my case, there's really no significant power loss. I got an SGI from Greenfuel fitted on my Camry 2.2. More so when I brought it back to Greenfuel for check-up last week. They replaced the rail and did some tune-up. Mas gumanda pa lalo performance. Dati kasi namamatay yung engine intermittently. Ngayon, although may be too early to tell, pero parang gasoline na talaga. Even the idling improved. Di mo na ma-notice that you're idling on LPG. I must say that I'm really quite satisfied with my LPG conversion. I think yun na lang LED indicators for the liters of LPG remaining ang medyo sabit, i.e. 4 LEDs up to about 80% consumed then biglang bababa to 3,2,1 LEDs between 80-90% empty...
Up on this... wish granted.
GH, lowers the power of the car? hehe... ;)
The LED can be a bit misleading as i hit the "low batt" mark when i run off around 30L (approx. 300kms) so right now i gauge more on the distance i run and a tank full can last me well over 500kms if i mix city and highway driving.
sobrang lakas talaga ng pump pressure ng total alabang. last monday nagpa refill ako ng donut tank ko 40li ang capacity, inabot ng 39.77li bago nag cut off. after nga nun naamoy ko ulit yung lpg sa trunk ko sabi ko malamang nag leak na naman... buti na lang after naka 30km ako sa highway nawala. next time hinde na ako magpapa full tank sa total, katakot at baka ma aberya na naman.
hmm ako sir diyan lang nagpapa karga.... i have a 60L cylindrical tank.
Max na ang 52L. (1 time lang nangyari)
Sometimes mafifill mga 44+ minsan 32+ lang for the same amount of km since I always fill up every thursday (either 9am or 9pm).
pero last time... ok din i got 8.7km/L mukhang tama ulit yung pagpump.
And regarding using LPG na mahina hatak...
siguro ngayon to be on the safe side, i will only fill in 32li max para maiwasan na rin ang possible line leaks. mahirap kasi pag naamoy mo yung lpg sa loob.

Just a reminder: Please be vigilant with "high pressure" filling stations. It is not only the tank that is at risk; it may also damage the multivalve gaskets and solenoid rings that eventually lead to leaks.
Since all of us are aware of our tank capacity. Just fill up to capacity. Also tell the pump attendant to stop filling when you reach your tank capacity.
Happy Motoring this Holiday Season with another series of auto-lpg rollback.
Hey Mike, you back in Manila?Still have to pass by the shop.
Hi sir! Thank you for your continuous support for our Station. Your recognition gives us great pride and joy. We will surely put our best efforts to further improve our service.
We are studying the option of adding credit card facilities in the near future, I will update regarding this. For now hope you are enjoying our loyalty card program.
