am i satisfied ? ok lang. don't expect too much from this company with repect to p.r. i first inquired throught phone and somehow i got the feeling that they didn't think i would really have my unit converted as i was concerned with the plastic picnic table at the back. i ask them to fax me their brochure pero wla. i personally go over there a week before and saw for myself their workmanship so i kinda know what to expect. they're more focused on taxi's as it they can get volume order and they have already mastered most of the makes. a taxi operator i went to ask if i could fill up at his pump have his 200 units converted by them. home service even.

when i was there i asked them if mits space gear can be lpg'ed , they could 'nt say until they saw the engine and engine compartment. from what i gathered, there should be enough space for the lpg vaporizer and the engine should have two water bypass (the one with the rubber caps clamped in the engine) cause that's where the vaporizer would get the heat needed for the lpg.

    doc128,

Did you experience any power loss? How's the performance during uphill climbs?

minimal only. a little bit sluggish in comparison to when using petrol. definitely not for drag racing.

mga peeps, naisip niyo ba kapag ibebenta niyo na yung car converted to lpg mas mababa na ang resale value? is LPG safe sa design ng car engine natin?

Well, think of it this way. You don't have enough money now or in the near future (not including the remote chance of your lotto ticket winning the jackpot prize) to buy a new fuel efficient Honda Jazz 1.3L so you make the decision to convert your existing commuter car to use LPG, hoping you get more savings than the existing fuel saving device (you hope) is saving you now.

I think the resale value of your car is not in the equation since you are not planning to sell the car anytime soon. If you are planning to sell the car, then you wouldn't even consider getting an LPG kit installed in the first place. You would have already sold it for that Honda Jazz you were looking over back at the Honda showroom.

is LPG safe sa design ng car engine natin?
yes. I have one. Australia, Italy, India and Korea are just some of the countries using LPG in their cars for years. The LPG related car fires in India are mostly caused by fly-by-night LPG kit installers.

read all the thread here with regards to LPG...
or better search the net "google"

I think it depends on the buyer if accepted niya ang technology ng Autogas or not. Besides you can remove the LPG kit if ever you decide to sell the car. With regards to the engine, I haven't read any article that say it will damage the engine. Please do some research so as to understand this technology better. Peace bro!

Yung current LPG systems daw, di kasing delikado ng mga luma. It's the old 70's conversions that caused engine breakdowns, because the fuel wasn't well metered. Medyo mas high-tech ngayon ang LPG.

And consider, puwede mo ring itanggal at ibenta seperately ang LPG pag nagbenta ka na ng tsikot.

just arrived from a trip to australia. May nakita akong newspaper advertisement from the australian government, they are giving each car owner Aus$2000 for each used car converted to LPG, and AUS$1000 for each brand new car na magpapakabit ng LPG. Lahat ng taxi nila sa adelaide at sydney were I went, naka lpg na.

All their buses are running on CNG, unlike sa atin, ang pinagyayabang na CNG bus program ni PGMA, up to now, wala pa ni isang kilometrong tinakbo.

When there is a will, and in the case of Australia, political will, there is a way. Sa atin kasi, walang political will kung walang pera makinabangan ang mga nasa politiko, kaya nasa private groups ang initiative, kaya mahihirapan ang lpg kits mag take off, kasi there are several kits being installed, and they are not interchangeable sa pag refuel, kaya mahihirapan.

Also, the fuel prices in Australia: AUS$1.34/liter unleaded, AUS$1.44/liter diesel, AUS$0.53/liter LPG.

    A few questions po.
    1. Is it true that lpg is in a liquid state inside the tank?
    2. Do they install a new fuel line for the lpg and what material is it?
    3. When does lpg change from liquid to gas is this inside the fuel line or before entering the comustion chamber?

    Thanks
