I'm quite new to the whole lpg scene.... I got a 2004 cefiro that has been converted to an lpg system. The thing is, it is a company car so maintenance has been neglected I guess. The LPG system is working fine but it consumes 4.5 km/liter of lpg unlike gas which is 7 km/l. BTW, it has an sgi kit which shifts to gas mode quite fine but there is a lag in shifting to another gear (automatic), lack of power I guess. So I called macro since they were the ones who installed the kit and they told me that they have to tune it up. But their office is quite far from where I am, and other lpg installers wont even bother checking the car since they claimed it is done by Macro so they are the only ones who could tune it up. Is this true?
Unfortunately, they are mostly correct. Each SGI-LPG kit is controlled by a computer and rarely are they compatible to other makes. So it would be worth your fuel-money to schedule a trip to MACRO to have your LPG kit serviced.

Proximity of the Auto-LPG shop is one of my reasons why I chose our Auto-LPG installer. Having them nearby makes it easier if the LPG system needs a service.
