Thanks ghosthunter. Can you please enlighten me why switch to gas during tuneups? I thought we would want the mechanics to tune our engines for lpg, for more efficient lpg burn? Why tuneup for gas if we plan to use lpg most of the time?

First and foremost, the engine was designed to run on gasoline. For most LPG converted cars, engine settings were not changed. So just for conveniece, using the car's stock gasoline settings would minimize any confusion during the tune up process, especially if the car is newer and contains a lot of sensors and electronics.
