My sister is planning to buy a CUV.

She's confused between the new Xtrail (4x2 CVT) and the CRV (V AT). Di nagkakalayo ng price.

Medyo bias ako sa pag influence sa kanya to get the CRV since I own a honda pero I'm not sure about the new X-trail if there's any issue.

Mostly city driving lang and mga twice a month out of town. Manila to Quezon. 3 passenger lang lagi sakay.

I hope to get your opinion on these on which is better.

-Looks (subjective but will surely help)
    -FC
    -Ride comfort

    Thanks!

    According to who?

None of your choices are particularly fuel efficient in the city. And the X-Trail and CR-V (from the times I've driven them) are a step behind the CX-5 in city traffic, especially if you're talking about a CX-5 variant with i-Stop.

cx-5 has the best fC in this segment.

Thanks for suggesting CX5 pero decided na sister ko between the two lang...

She's 70% with X-trail na kaya lang since new generation ito baka may mga issues na lumabas...

I like the looks of the Xtrail over the CRV. The XTrail is the only one in its category to have a standard foldable 3rd row seat. Given the choice though, I will choose between the Forester or CX5.

With the bad traffic i dont think the xtrail will achieve over 8km/l in the metro. More in the 4-6km/liter range.

I think they will release a new small turbo version in 2016. Which will be more frugal in the city.

CX-5 is great to drive but I think the stiffest ride. I don't trust the start/stop system. It might lead to premature wear in the long run.

    As for the 2 choices:
    Looks - Xtrail
FC - more or less the same
Ride comfort - For long drives on-road: Xtrail
For the rougher stuff: CR-V. Xtrail seats are better for me but the CR-V's suspension is softer.

We both have the CRV 4WD Japan CBU and X-Trail 4x4.

Other features mas Ok ang X-trail.
