Totally agree with you and it may not be polluting the air but what about the used batteries when it wears out it becomes thrash. Well the Philippines just needs to make manufacturers there start using California emissions standards if they want to clean the smog though. I don't know of a place where they use hybrids as taxis yet. Actually the Jazz/Fit here only come with the 1.5 vtec engine and it's a ULEV or ZEV engine if I am correct.
