buy the vehicle of your dreams, and if you want rear cam and it has none, have a cam installed.
no big deal.
actually, my first reverse camera is with other suv pero almost 7inch lang yun screen nun, pero yun wildtrak naging 8in na, so mas malaki ang covered sa likod, lalo na siguro kung 10in ang screen, mas madali mag park. gradual din naman ang neediness ko sa rev cam, pero now I can say kelangan ko na talaga eto, kasi nasanay na ako .
I know where you are all coming from coz you're all old school or somehow good drivers. I still have two cars without rev cam. pag drive ko yun kung minsan nanliliit ako driving these cars kahit hindi up to date, eh pang 10 years ago. I feel deprived
.... kasi gusto nila ng Fortuner
some buyers wouldn't even mind the specs, they'll just buy what they want
OT : nakakatawa ginawa ng tatay ko, for the longest time (he's nearing 60 y.o) lahat ng sasakyan nya walang reverse camera or reverse sensor pero wala syang history ng naatrasan. may time pa nga na ibinabyahe nya yung 21 seater jeep namin. tapos kung kelan sya nagkaroon ng sasakyang na may parehas na reverse camera at reverse sensor, saka pa nakaatras ng pader. gasgas tuloy yung rear bumper.
Yung truck drivers namin sa probinsya can reverse their 18 wheelers into sugarcane loading bays in 1-2 maneuvers.
No camera's, no sensors, nada.
Sa pamoto-boto lang ina!
(in English) ... Its all in the balls!

Our SA promised to include it for our Forte as a freebie but have not materialise on the last minute (usual SA strategy 😕) at hingi na ng 12K for the RevCam unit and installation.
God Bless Us All...

^ Toyota has put a lot of technology to that car, I wonder why didn't they include that one teeny weeny feature.
Just like buying a big Mac without the pickles, sure you can live without it, but for this burger"s price, i should see those dang pickles.

Yung LC200 "standard" nga walang reverse camera... You need to get the "premium"/full option to get it.
For those that want it, not a big deal.
Toyota knows it can get away with underfeatured vehicles selling at above average market price.
In some respects they deserve it naman. Sa dami ng Toyota sa kalsada, you don't hear many stories of Vioses waiting for several weeks/months at the casa for common parts...
This only means that competition isn't too hot yet. When the competition gets fierce, you'll see them improve their offerings.
Only shows dami me bago car ngaun di man lang makatikim ng advantage na may camera sa likod, And to think they spent more lol
