Jazz, City, Vios, Getz (diesel), Accent, Yaris

    automatic daw..

walang getz, at accent na diesel na matic....

CARENS LX or EX crdi 4-AT

kung gasolina, picanto 1.1 AT(alam ko meron nito)

pero kung isasama natin ang CVT--take note CVT is different from automatic.

Jazz/City 1.3 IDSi--or kung gusto mo may power ng onti--1.5VTEC

lancer MX CVT ok din fuel economy nya for a 1.6L

may mga reconditioned suzuki micro vans, daihatsu mira, nissan march na 0.8cc at 3-sped matic.. matipid cya kung city use, pero pag highway mo na, at gusto mo humigit ng 60kph--matakaw na (dahil todo na ang makina)

    edit:

pero ako, sa mahal na nga ng gas, at since personal use at "around the area" lang naman..i'll get either a automatic/ automatic-clutch na:
honda wave100R, suzuki shogun 125R or hayate, yamaha mio or crypton Z or nouvoZ or X1 or sniper....at yung kotse/van ko pag madami na ko dala/kasama....

Id put my money on the Accent for cars or any AT variant of Isuzu for non-cars. AFAIK, Accent is more frugal than the getz even though it's bigger -- I read this in a car mag a while back. As for Isuzu, they're one of the most frugal diesels I had ever driven -- medyo mabagal nga lang.

suv/AUV/pickup > tucson(2.0 4-AT crdi), crosswind/sportivo(4-AT 4JA1-L--refined engine na makita mo since time in memorial), they sa innova/hi-ace's D4D matipid daw, pero alam ko logs only 12km/l..

alam ko may BMW X3 2.0D na matic,e...

yup, meron nito. I drive and own one, proud of it :D

    IN AVERAGE:
my picanto does 10 km to a liter, PURE CITY (Makati and Divisoria kind of Traffic)
and does 15 km to liter MIX CITY and PROVINCIAL :D

yun lang, share ko lang. By the way, wala pang first change oil yan and filter. Haven't had my first one yet. Hopefully and I believe, what they say will be true na gaganda pa fuel efficiency ng Picanto ko after his First Service.

    :D

    Just sharing. Happy kasi ako.

my 1.5l city vtec CVT does 12km/l city driving. highest i got was around 16km/l nung talagang tinipid ko gas. sa highway di ko na namalayan. but certainly it would be higher

i logged 14km/l combined city and highway driving in a 02 Honda City LXi AT.

impressive kase paspas ako ng paspas... i hit 150kph sa NLEX and it still delivered that thrifty figure. Had i been driving more conservatively, it should have been higher than that.

The Suzuki won't be as efficient.

The most fuel efficient gasoline engines, pound-for-pound, out there are the engines in the Jazz/City and the Vios/Yaris. Even without the CVT, the Toyotas get good numbers... but the Honda CVT is a definite advantage in traffic.

Of course, since the Picanto and Getz have 1.1 liter engines available, despite the lag in engine technology versus the Japanese, the smaller size pays dividends at the gas pump.

But the overall, most fuel efficient AT on the road? A scooter. Buy one and you have enough change left over versus a car to build yourself a nice new TV room with a 60" LCD, 5.1 surround, Laz-E-Boy seats and a popcorn dispenser.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Bad ka Niky! Imbes na mabawasan yung mga underbone at scooter sa daan, ine-encourage mo pa!

pure city driving 8-9km/liter. with stretches of 60kph runs you could get 10kpl.
