vios vs. city

mga parekoy! hingi lang ako ng opinion nyo kung ano ang mas okay...vios or city 2010?

yung vios E manual tapos city S manual transmission...parehong 1.3L..

* Dong Castro: Both cars are ok and has resale value. Go for the Vios because maintenance cost are cheap than the City. Toyota offers all promo while Honda doesn't have promos and discounts.

Vios' Engine:

1.3L DOHC, 16 Valve * 85 HP.

City's Engine:

1.3L SOHC, 16 Valve * 100 HP. (From the Brochure).

Vios' Engine are big and produce more power because of the DOHC. Yun ride ng City ay di ko pa nasusubukan.

The Verdict: Both cars matipid sa gas

DOHC has nothing to do with power... Bottomline, the City has higher peak power than the Vios. Yun nga lang the way the power is distributed mas gusto ko yung sa Vios...

Vios 1.3 ba? Mahinang bumatak. Mabilis lang kapag nakabwelo na. Pero from zero to 100kph? Paluin mo ng latigo or ifloor mo ang pedal para bumirit.

City 1.3, sabi ng friend ko na naka City hina daw bumatak. Same as vios mabilis lang kapag nakabwelo na. Nasanay lang siguro ako sa 1.6 up kaya ganito ang observation ko.

IMHO the only thing the Vios has going for it is the price. It's not that roomy at all - especially at the back where rear headroom is seriously lacking for someone 5'8" in height. Even the looks don't appeal - while the old Vios was just as cramped at least it looked better to these peepers.

Interior room, performance, quality of materials - the City has all the bases covered better. The L13A 1.3L engine just shines with the manual gearbox, too - getting the automatic will be a mistake as it just robs the engine of its capabilities.

Between the two, I choose Vios. (though ang binili ko within that price range is iba ). IMO, exclusivity of the city is the only thing that beats the Vios. Maintenance cost and FC, panalo na ang Vios. Resale Value is not in my mind when I buy a car. Keeper ako e.

salamat sa mga opinion at suggestion nyo...pareho lang pala matipid sa gas..pero sabi ng kaibigan ko 18 km per liter daw ang vios pag city driving..then 22 km per liter pag long drive..totoo ba yun?

parang mas ok sa akin ang porma ng city..d ko lang alam kung ok ang performance at maintenance compared sa vios..parang tested na kasi ang vios
