+1 Mitsu's PMS labor charges are almost twice as much as Toyota's even for a tiny car like the Mirage

I am getting charged around 1.7k to 2.8k (heavy checkup) for every PMS checkpoint (Diamond Fairview), Does it mean sa Toyota less than 1k? now thats nice return for their customers

a "minor side-effect" of that 5 year warranty, is that you are required to have your car maintained in their casa for 5 years, at casa prices and schedules.. while some motorists are ok with this, others fine it highway robbery..

This is my point on resale. Casa maintained cars usually have high re-sale value

IIRC light checkup for Toyota is around 1k and heavy is around 1.5K.

Have the mirage cvt. Puwera lang sa starting problem. Ok naman. February last year nabili. For 10k pms this week end.

So yung itinipid mo sa GAS sa Mirage say 3 or 4 months, to pay for extra PMS

Example: Say everyday you travel 30kms city drive except coding day.

That is 30kms X 25 days/month = 750kms

For 3months that would be 750kms X 3 = 2250kms

WIGO GAS volume: 2250kms/11.3kml = 199.11 liters -> 199.11 liters x P50.00 = P9,955.50

MIRAGE GAS volume: 2250kms/14.1kml = 159.57 liters -> 159.57 liters x P50.00 =P7,978.50

Difference: P9,955.5 - P7,978.5 = P1,977.00

That’s more than enough to compensate Mitsu PMS cost. Still savings pa rin sa Mirage.

It's a somewhat bitter pill to swallow in our case, given that we plan to finish the amortization and sell the car after five years. The idea is that casa maintenance will give it a higher premium upon resale.
