With all the horror stories. We just screw the warranty on our brand new u its after the first year and have our third party specialists do maintenance for us. Hehe. The availability of ABS on the Wigo is a big plus for me in this comparo. Plus I currently drive a Toyota and have ties with the parts supplier and third party service providers.
How much would it cost to make the navigation on the Wigo work? Any cheap tricks from wigo owners?

Thanks sir. Mas mura yung bentahan ng sd online. Yung antenna meron naman makukuha sina Jemson. Then he can hack the video system to play while moving while he's at it. Hehe

I have inspected both vehicles separately but no test drives.
I will pick the Mitsubishi anytime.
Wigo
-Feels like a car from the early 90's. Doesn't feel like a Toyota (but of course, its a Daihatsu!)
-Glaring exposed body metal in the interior (rear passengers seat belt hook area)
-A hatch door that requires a tug of the trunk opener beside the driver side. Inconvenient and defeats the purpose of a hatch. Then again the omission of such keeps the prices low.
-Overall, it feels like something that Maruti would design and manufacture.
========================
Mirage is simply a better engineered, designed and manufactured product. Period.

Can both these cars negotiate the uphill climbs of Kennon Road (and the like) at full capacity?
This would also be a good point to consider before deciding to make a purchase.

Having spent the past 12 hours driving around in a Mitsubishi Mirage GLX 1.2 M/T for the Nat Geo Run, would anyone care to lend their Wigo?
The Mirage is nice enough to drive. About the only thing lacking was anti-lock brakes. And a light for the trunk (hard to find stuff in the dark).
