Toyota Hilux E vs. Mitsubishi strada GLX

We are currently scouting for a new vehicle. It will be used in our RTW business which would carry maximum of 4 sacks (same size as rice). Pang city driving lang naman. We could also be putting roller up for added safety from "magnanakaws" Which of the 2 would be most practical (fuel consumption,maintenance,driveability--feel of the clutch and resale value)??

both trucks are a good buy, but may problem pa kase sa D4d engine ng Toyota. so ill go with the Strada

Don't worry about the D4D engine of the Hilux. It doesn't have the woes that the Innova D4D and Fortuner D4D has. So, you're safe.

With a maximum of 4 sacks of rice, that's pretty light for a pick-up to carry so any will do.

The Navara wouldn't be as practical as the others because of it's 1M+ price range.

Your best bet here would be the Strada IMO. Not only it has a good suspension ( hence, not bouncy inside unlike the Hilux ) but also it has a pretty good price range.

But since you're just going to use this for business purposes only, the Strada GL would suffice. Cheaper, yet it has the same " strength " and " purpose " as what other Strada variants has.

However, you could also opt for the Hilux FX. I really am not sure how much is this compared to the Strada's but atleast, you get a cabin wherein you could not only place your sacks of rice on but also can accommodate more people. ;)

Navara and Trekker even their 4x2 is beyond our budget. Value for money is what we are really after; and also safety and you just cant ignore the hilux E and strada glx with its 900k+ prices.

Syempre biased ako sa strada. But im satisfied naman sa performance nya & kahit maraming ngsasabi na maliit yung bed pero you'll be surprised kung ano ang makakarga mo. Best bang for the buck IMO.

no abs for the variants lower than G

The Strada GLX will give you the best of both worlds. it is a more suitable daily driver because the suspension is much more refined as well as its stock aesthetics and features that doesn't scream "BARE" in addition to that, the passenger cabin has been maximized for comfort. This may have been done at the expense of cargo bed. but its not that much though as it is still very usable and it comes with a protective bedliner too- so pushing those boxes of RTWs in the pickup bed will never give you that guilty feeling of paint scratches. In fact, it was never a big issue in CLUB discussions about the truck. Im positive it will help you both in your livelihood and an active lifestyle ahead of you.

Ride comfort = navarra
Strada= best back seat + best for parking, small streets
Hilux= reliable but not comfy
Dmax= if you sell mineral water, piglets. Oldest engine of all.

Ako din mga sir, searching for our first car.

Pangprovince sya, so baka gamitin pang-akyat sa bukid (pero not everytime, baka once a year lng), at dapat mataas para panglaban sa baha, at paminsan-minsan baka gamitin magdala ng ilang sack of rice or corn.

So, dahil jan, pick-up napili namin na first car.

But, we have a very tight budget. So, hingi ako advice ano maganda.
Also, maintenance, FC, PMS.

Ito na rin siguro gamitin ko para matuto magdrive, kaya ano maganda edrive na pickup.hehe
